Application for recruitment in the Sports Quota
Application are invited from distinguished sports persons for recruitment advertisement under Sports Quota by Ratlam Division Sports Association for the year 2009-10.
No.of Vacancies: 02 (Two only) (The number of vacancies may increase or decrease).
Group 'D': Pay Scale Rs.2.550/- 3,200/- (RSRP)/5200-20200
1. Sports - Badminton Male single.
2. Eligibility for Application:
- 2.1 Educational Qualifications: VIII class from a recognized Board
2.2 Age Limit: Must not be less than 18 years and more than 25 years as on 01.07.2009 (only those born between 01.07.1985 & 01.07.1992 may apply.)
2.3 Application Fees: Rs.40/- (Forty only) for general category and Rs.10/- (Ten only) for SC/ST category payable by crossed postal orders in favour of 'Hon. Secretary, Ratlam Division Sports Association, Ratlam'.
3. Criteria for recruitment in sports:
- The candidates must have either team or individual achievement in the following events:
- Must have represented state or equivalent unit in junior or senior National sports championship, or
Must have represented district or equivalent unit in junior or senior state championship and achieved at least third position.
The above championships must have been organized under the aegis of recognized International/National or state sports federation which are recognized by Railway Sports Promotion Board.
All applicants must possess above qualifications achieved in the past two years viz 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 in the related sports as mentioned above and must be a regular excellent & active sportsmen presently i.e. in 2009-2010.
4. Selection Procedure:
4.1 Selection will be based on the marks obtained by the applicants during Trial and Interview's Merit position and excellent performance.
5. Other description for Trial / lnterview:
The applicant shall have to bring original certificates of educational qualifications, date of birth & sports achievements at the time of trial & Interview.
- The applicant should bring two latest passport sized photographs.
- The Railway administration will not be responsible for any probable accident of the sportsman during 'Trial'.
- The applicant will not be paid TA/DA, or provided accommodation etc.
Keeping in view the fact that 'trial' & 'Interview' can take more than one day, the incumbent shall have to make his/her own arrangement for boarding and lodging.
The Railway administration reserves the right to alter, Change or cancel the date, time and place of scheduled trial and interview due to unforseen circumstances. No compensation for the same shall be payable to the applicant.
The Railway administration shall be free to schedule the date, time and place of Trial and Interview in accordance with its convenience.
No second chance would be provided to applicants who are unable to attend the Trial" and 'Interview' at prescribed date, place & time as scheduled by the Railway administration.
Any form of recommendation would immediately disqualify the candidature.
The Railway Administration will not consider applications received late or lost in post.
If necessary, candidate may have to undergo medical checkup (Doping test) about suspected drug consumption etc.
6. The candidate must read the above items carefully and must only apply if qualified. All the columns must be filled clearly and correctly in the enclosed application form.
Forms containing incomplete information, cutting, overwritting etc would be summarily rejected.

10. The applicant should sign on the designated place in the application form.
The candidate must enclose two latest passport sized photographs and the photo on the form along with photocopies of the testimonials must be certified by a gazetted officer or the application would be rejected.
