Applications are invited from the Citizens of India for recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota for the year 2009-10 for filling up 02 (Two) posts in Group C category in Scale Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 1900/2000 on West Central Railway Recruitment.

The Candidates fulfilling the following conditions may submit their application in the Pro-forma enclosed as Annexure "A".

1. West Central Railway Jabalpur Minimum Educational Qualifications:

Minimum matriculation or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate. The stipulation of 50% marks is not applicable to candidates having higher Educational Qualification and SC/ST candidates.

2. Age Limit for West Central Railway Jabalpur Recruitment:

The age limit is 18-30 years as on 01-01-2010. The lower and upper age limit indicated will be reckoned as on 01-01-2010.

The upper age limit is relaxable as under subject to submission of requisite certificate,

1. By 5 years for SC/ST Candidates
2. By 3 years for OBC Candidates
3. For Ex-Servicemen upto the extent of service rendered in defense plus 3 years provided they have put in more than 6 months service after attestation
4. By 5 years for persons who were ordinarily domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01/01/1980to31/12/1989.
5. By 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates
6. For the Serving Group 'D' Railway Staff and casual labourers/substitutes, the relaxation in upper age limits will be upto 40 years for unreserved candidates, 45 years for SC/ST candidates and 43 years for OBC candidates, provided they have put in minimum of 3 years service(continuo'us or in broken) spells. For those working in Quasi-Administrative offices of the Railway organization such as Railway Canteens, Co-operative Societies and Institutes, the relaxation in upper age limits will be upto the length of services rendered subject to maximum 5 years
7. Upper age limit in case of widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from the husband but not remarried shall be relaxed upto 35 years for Unreserved, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates.

3. Scouting/Guiding Qualifications for WC Railway Jabalpur:

1. A President's Scout/Guide/Ranger/Rover OR Himalayan Wood Badge Holder OR A Pre-HWB trained Scout leader/Advanced Trained Guide/Leader/Captain.
2. Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organisation for at least 3 years in the Recent past and should continue to be active member.
3. Should have attended at least one event at National level and one or two events at State Level.OR
4. Should have a good record of participation in Scouts/Guide activities at unit/District Level.

4. WCR Jabalpur Processing Fee:

The processing fee for recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota will be Rs.40/-. Date of issuing of IPO/Bank Draft should not be before the date of issue of this Employment Notice.

SC/ST/PH candidates and Ex. Servicemen are exempted from payment of examination fee. Postal Order/Bank Draft should be in the name of FA&CAO, West Central Railway, Jabalpur payable at Jabalpur.

6. Railway Recruitment Cell West Central Railway Jabalpur Application Form

The given format should be neatly typed or handwritten either in Hindi or English on A4 size paper. One Passport size photograph duly signed should be pasted on the application in the space provided and similar two. passport size photographs duly signed on reverse should be clipped along with the application form.

Applications should be sent by ordinary post in a closed envelope or to be dropped in the box provided for the purpose in the Railway Recruitment Cell Office at above address upto 17.00 hours. No acknowledgement will be given for Applications sent by Courier/By Registered Post.

The last date for receipt of application is 16-11-2009. On the top of the envelope "Application for Recruitment Against Scouts and Guides Quota" & " Employment Notice No. 1/SQ/S&G/2009-10" should be super-scribed.

No application will be accepted after the closing date for whatever reason and any enclosure received separately after the receipt of application will not be entertained.
