8. WCR Railway Application Format:

The given format should be neatly typed or handwritten either in Hindi or English on A4 size paper. One Passport" size photograph should be pasted on the application in the space provided with signature in the Box below the photograph and similar two passport size photographs duly signed on reverse should be clipped along with the application form.

Applications should be sent by ordinary post in a closed envelope or to be dropped in the box provided for the purpose in the Railway Recruitment Cell Office at above address upto 18.00 hours. No acknowledgement will be given for Applications sent by Courier/By Registered Post The last date for receipt of application is 30-11-2009.

On the top of the envelope "Application For Recruitment Against Cultural Quota" & "Employment Notice No. 2/Cul/2009-10" should be super-scribed. No application will be accepted after the closing date for whatever reason and any enclosure received separately after the receipt of application will not be entertained.

9. West Central (WC) Railway Selection Process:

The selection shall consist of written examination will consist of objective type questions and assessment of talent in the relevant field

1. On the basis of practical demonstration
2. Testimonials / Prizes etc.

10. Invalid Applications:

The application having any of the following deficiency/discrepancies or irregularities will be summarily rejected:

1. Applications not submitted in prescribed format as given in this employment notice
2. Incomplete or illegible applications of applications with over writing, cutting or erasing marks
3. Unsigned/undated application/application without clear and un-smudged thumb impression and/or without Marks of identification
4. Without photographs or affixing/attaching Xerox Copy of photograph
5. Without / different signatures in box below the photo, on application form
6. Without Bank Draft / Postal orders of requisite value and validity for UR and OBC candidates or purchased before issue of notification or after closing date
7. Application not filled in English or Hindi or not filled by candidate in his/her own handwriting
8. Without proper certificates, in respect of SC/ST/OBC and or EX-Servicemen and PH candidates, certificate should be obtained from the appropriate authority in the prescribed format
9. Under aged/over aged candidates
10. Not having the requisite Educational qualification at the time of submitting application
11. Application received after 18.00 hrs. on closing date by any means/modes
12. Self attested Photo copies of the certificates not attached
13. More than on application in one Name or sent in one envelope
14. If the date of application is before date of notification or after closing date or application without date
15. Any other deemed irregularity.

11. Enclosures:

The following enclosures should be firmly attached with the application

1. Indian Postal Order / Bank Draft of Rs.40/- in favor of FA&CAO, West Central Railway, Jabalpur
2. Self attested copy of certificates in support of age, educational qualification, age relaxation and participation certificate in Cultural for their eligibility as mentioned above
3. Self attested copy of Caste Certificate in the case of SC/ST candidates and Current Creamy Layer Certificate in case of OBC candidate issued by competent authority
4. Two recent passport size photographs duly signed on reverse are to be attached with the application.

12. Place of Posting:

Selected candidates will be posted at Headquarters office of W.C. Railway.

13. In case of any difference, English version of the employment notice will treated as valid

14. Decision of the Railway Administration:

The decision of the Railway Administration in all matters related to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the application, penalty for false information, mode of selection,, allotment of posts to selected candidates would be final and binding on the candidates.

The administration has also right to disqualify a candidate even after selection if he/she is later found to be ineligible.
