Railway Protection Force Recruitment for the post of Inspector (Prosecution) & Sub-Inspector (Prosecution) in RPF

RPF Recruitment Applications are invited from eligible male/female candidates for filling up the posts of Inspector (Prosecution) & Sub-Inspector (Prosecution) in the Railway Protection Force as per instructions contained in the following paras:-

1. Railway Protection Force Pay Scale: Inspector (Prosecution)-Pay Band of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4600 & Sub-Inspector (Prosecution)- Pay Band of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4200 plus allowances as are admissible to Central Government employees from time to time.

(B) The vacancies indicated above are provisional and may increase or decrease at the time of recruitment depending upon the requirement of the Railway Administration.

The Administration also reserves the right to cancel the recruitment as well as the notified vacancies at its discretion and such decision will be binding on all concerned.

In the event of cancellation of notified vacancies, the examination fee will not be refunded.

(C) The selected candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in India in Railway Protection Force and may be allotted to any Zonal Railway after selection.

(D) Candidates who want to apply for both the Posts, Viz. Inspector (Prosecution) & Sub-Inspector (Prosecution) should apply separately on separate application forms in separate envelopes with separate Postal Order/Bank Draft and enclosures as required for the Post Concerned.

Common application for the post of inspector (Prosecution) & Sub-Inspector (Prosecution) from the same candidate shall be rejected.

(E) These posts have not been identified as suitable for persons with disabilities and hence they have been exempted from the purview of Sections 33 and 47 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.

3. Railway Protection Force Recruitment Ineligibility: No person

  1. Who is not a citizen of India, or
  2. Who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living, or
  3. Who is having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible for appointment as member of the Force.
