1.0. Applications are invited from Sports Persons who have achieved medal winning position in International / National Events etc.

In the prescribed format for recruitment of Group ‘C’ Posts Against Sports Quota in Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore – 560 106.

2.0. The recruitment of Sports Persons in Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ categories are in the following games:

2.1 Group ‘C’

2.2. Group ‘D’

3.0 Minimum norms to be fulfilled by Sports Persons besides Educational Qualification for the above Group ‘C’ Category:

3.1: Sports persons who has any of the following sports achievement in team or individual event in any of the games as mentioned in Para 2.1. above.

1. Represented the Country in the International championships; For recruitment and incentive purpose, international meets, (Junior/Senior Category) shall be categorized as under: Category –A – Olympics Category – B – World Cup, World Championships, Asian Championships, USIC Championships. OR
2. Represented a State or equivalent Unit in Junior / Senior National Championship and obtained at least 3rd position. OR
3. Represented a University in All India Inter University Championships organized under the aegis of Association or Indian Universities and obtained at least 3rd Position in Individual event or 2nd position in team event. OR
4. Represented a State or equivalent Unit in Federation Cup Championship (Senior category) and obtained 1st position.

4.0. Minimum norms to be fulfilled by Sports Persons besides Educational Qualification for the above Group ‘D’ category:

4.1 Sports Persons who has any of the following sports achievement in team or individual event in any of the games as mentioned in Para 2.2 above

1. Represented a State or equivalent unit, except in Marathon and Cross Country, in Junior / Senior National Championship, OR
2. Represented a District or equivalent unit in Junior / Senior Championship and obtained at least 3rd position

Note:

1. All the championships mentioned above shall be conducted under aegis or recognized international / National / State Sports Federation and also recognized by Railway Sports Promotion Board.
2. For norms mentioned under para 3.1. (ii) and 4.1. (i) Only Senior National and Junior National Championships shall be taken into consideration, National Games
3. In Golf, for recruitment in Group ‘D’, Sports Person having I.G.U. ranking up to 100, subject to recruitment. Only the current Annual Ranking shall be considered for this purpose.
4. The sports achievement shall be in the immediate previous two years and sports persons shall be an active player. The sports achievements of current and previous two financial years shall be taken into account. For this purpose, concluding day of the championship shall be taken into account.
5. List of Junior National Championship recognized by Railways Sports, Promotion Board for recruitment of sports persons on Indian Railways against sports quota
