Direct NWR Railway Recruitment to the posts in Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) and carrying Grade Pay of Rs.1800 in the offices of the Principal Accountant General (Civil Audit, Rajasthan, Jaipur (includes Office of the Accountant General (Commercial & Receipt Audit) Rajasthan, Jaipur & Principal Director, Regional Training Institute, Jaipur), Principal Accountant General (Accounts & Entitlement) Rajasthan, Jaipur, and Principal Director of Audit, North Western Railway, Jaipur under Indian Audit and Accounts Department.

The numbers of North Western Railway vacancies given above are tentative only and may increase or decrease.

Horizontal reservation will be applicable irrespective of the categories under vertical reservation.

The persons suffering from the following disabilities (40% or more) will be considered under the Physically Handicapped category.

1. OH [One leg affected (O.L) / One arm affected (OA.)].
2. HH (Hearing Handicapped) and
3. VH (Low Vision / Blind)

Duties attached with the posts advertised include all such duties and responsibilities as expected from a peon in a Government Office like dusting / cleaning of the rooms of the officers / sections, moving of dak, supplying of drinking water, photocopying, binding of files, etc. and any other duties assigned by the higher authorities from time to time.

The persons recruited will be posted in the above mentioned offices of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department. Presently, All India Service liability is not involved. However persons recruited are liable to be posted in any new IA & AD offices or sub offices that may be created in the State of Rajasthan.

Persons recruited in O/o Professor Director of Audit, NWR, Jaipur are liable to be posted at its divisional offices in Bikaner, Ajmer and Jodhpur, as also any new divisional offices that may be created in future.

2. Nationality / Citizenship:

The applicant must be either:

1. A citizen of India, (or)
2. A subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan, (or)
3. A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before 1st January, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, (or)
4. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
