Method of Recruitment: Transfer on deputation/transfer

(a) Officers of Central/State Government/High Court:

1. Holding analogous post on a regular basis; or
2. With three (3) years' regular service in posts in the scale of Rs.14300-183007

(b)

1. Having a degree in Law from a recognized University or equivalent; and
2. Ten (10) years' experience in Court procedures, Commercial/Railway Claims matter including administrative experience at Group 'A level.

Note:

1. Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately proceeding this appointment in the same or some other Organization/Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years. The maximum age limit for appointment by transfer on deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
2. The eligible officers may send their applications through proper channel in the prescribed format given at Annexure -A to Sh. Manoj Kumar, Under Secretary/E(0) II/Railway Board, Room No269 II Rail Bhawan, New Delhi-110001 within 60 days of publication of this notice. While forwarding the applications, it may be ensured by the administrative Ministries / Departments concerned that the particulars of the candidates are verified and that they fulfill eligibility conditions and that up-to-date CR dossier of the candidates are forwarded along with. It may also be ensured that DAR Vigilance Clearance and Integrity Certificate in respect of the applicants are also sent along with their applications.
3. The Curriculum Vitae (CV) duly supported by documents will be assessed by the Selection Committee selecting candidates for appointment on deputation basis.
4. The officers who have already applied for the post in respect to the vacancy notice advertised in August' 2008 need not apply again.
