East Coast Railway Recruitment against Cultural Quota for the Year 2009 - 10.
1. ECoR Railway invited Applications from Indian nationals for recruitment against Cultural quota in Group 'C' in East Coast Railway for the year 2009 - 10.
ECoR Recruitment 2010 Applications are to be submitted subject to fulfilling the following conditions.

| 3. | Professional Cultural Qualifications | Essential: Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Vocal Music from Govt, recognized institute.
Desirable:
(i) Experience in Vocal Music and performances given on AIR/Doordarshan etc.
(ii) Prizes won at National level in Vocal Music. |
| 4. | Post / ECoR Vacancies | 2 (Two) in Group 'C' (i.e. One post for Male; One post for Female) over East Coast Railway. |

| 6. | East Coast Railway Recruitment 2010 Educational Qualification | Pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognised board. (50% marks in the aggregate will be required for NTPC categories.
50% marks are not required for SC / ST candidates, and for candidates having higher qualification.) |

8. East Coast Railway ECoR Recruitment 2010 Selection Procedure: Eligible candidates will be assessed on the following basis:

Note:
Questions for written test will be of objective type multiple choice. Answers are to be marked on OMR answer sheets.
From amongst those who secure a minimum of 35% marks in the Written Test, candidates equal to 5 times the number of notified East Coast Railway vacancies will be called, purely in the order of merit based on written test marks, for attending performance / practical demonstration stage of ECoR recruitment and assessment of Testimonials / Prizes etc.

10. ECoR Railway Recruitment 2010 Application Fee:
UR and OBC candidates should submit with the East Coast Railway application an Indian Postal Order (issued after the date of this notification) for an amount of Rs. 40/- drawn in favour of FA & CAO, East Coast Railway payable at Bhubaneswar.
SC / ST candidates, ex-servicemen and physically challenged candidates need not submit this fee.
