Indian Railways have always held high records of National and International sports, and Central Railway is a part of it.

1. CR Railway Applications are invited from eligible sports persons in various sports disciplines for recruitment in Group 'C' posts on Central Railway as detailed below.

2. If you fulfill the eligibility conditions given below then apply immediately.

3. The successful candidates for Group 'C' posts will be posted to Group 'C' at the discretion of the competent authority and subject to availability of Central Railway vacancies and eligibility. Total number of Group 'C' posts to be filled up will be 12 (Twelve).

4. Particulars of Sports disciplines for Central Railway Jobs 2010:

4.1. The Central Railway recruitments to Group 'C' posts will be for various sports/discipline for men/women as given below:

5. Eligibility Condition/achievement for CR Railway 2010:

5.1. Sports achievement for Group 'C' Posts: A candidate must have:

1. Represented the country as a member of Junior/Senior team in the prestigious International meets. Such as Olympic Games/World Cup/World Championship/Asian Games/Commonwealth Games. (or)
2. Represented the country in the Commonwealth & Asian Championships and obtained at least Third Position. (or)
3. Represented the State or equivalent unit in the Senior/Junior National or obtained at least 3rd position. (or)
4. Represented a University in All India University Championship (organized under the aegis of Association of Indian University and should have obtained at least 3rd position in Individual events or at least 2nd position in the team games. (or)
5. Represented the State or equivalent unit in Federation cup (Senior Category) and obtained first position.
6. For Hockey Junior U-21 National Hockey Championship shall be treated as Junior Hockey Championship.

5.2. Educational Qualification for Central Railway Group 'C' posts:

The Educational Qualification for appointment to Group 'C' posts will be High School pass or 10th pass under 10+2 system.

5.3. Shorts criteria will be adjudge on the basis of the participation in championships on or after 01.04.2007 will be eligible to apply.

5.4. CR Railway Age limits for Group 'C' posts:

Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years for all the games as on 01.01.2010.

6. Selection Procedure for CR Railway Recruitment 2010:

6.1. Selection will be conducted through Trial and Interview.

6.2. Candidates must bring original date of birth, educational qualification and sports related certificates on the day of trial and interview, without which they will not be accepted for selection.

6.3. All documents should be attested.

6.4. No TA/DA accommodation will be provided during trial/interview. Bring your own sports kit. A candidate may have to stay for 2-3 days during selection for which he/she has to make his/her own arrangements.

The Central Railway Administration has the right to determine a valid date, postpone trial/interview, change the place or cancel the trial doe to unforeseen reasons and this cannot be challenged by anyone.

7. Application Procedure for Central Railway Recruitment 2010:

1. Sports persons, who fulfill the above eligibility conditions, may send their CR Railway applications enclosing copies of their Educational qualification, Proof of age, sports Achievement Certificates and any other laurels won by them, One attested photograph to be pasted on CR Railway Application form and prescribed processing Examinatiom fee.
2. Their Central Railway applications may be delivered by hand or sent by post, addressed to the envelope should be super subscribed.

3. An individual should apply for only one game and the name of the game should be written on the envelope as indicated in Para 7 (ii) above, and also on the top of the CR Railway application form in bold letters. In case an individual sends CR Railway applications Form for more than one Game, the CR Railway applications are liable to be rejected and not opened if Game & Group is not written on envelope.
4. The Central Railway application Form may be sent, giving the information along with its enclosures prescribed in the above paragraphs.
5. CR Railway Applications will be accepted by ordinary post, courier and Registered AD or registered post or to be dropped in box provided in Headquarters office.
6. No receipt at counter will be given.
7. The candidate would be selected for employment only if they fit in the CRSA team.
8. The decision of the selection committee in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the CR application form etc. will be final & binding on the candidates & no enquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this connection.

8. Processing Fees for Central Railway Jobs 2010:

Processing fees to be sent with CR Railway application in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favor of 'Central Railway Sports Association' is as under:

1. Rs.40/- Postal order for Group 'C'.
2. For SC/ST candidate-Nil.

9. Last date for CR Railway application Form 2010:

The test date/time of receipt of Central Railway application Form is 19.01.2010 by 17:00 hrs.
