Written examination for the following posts / Categories of Employment Notice No. 2/2006 & 2/2008 have been scheduled to be held on 12/07/2009 at Allahabad in two shifts. Morning shift from 9.30 am to 11.00 am & Evening Shift from 3.00 pm to 4.30 pm.

The details are as under:

* Written Exam for this post which was conducted earlier on 15.07.07 has been cancelled and now has been fixed on 12.7.09 from 9.30 to 11.00 AM as detailed above.

Call Letters for the above exams have been issued by post to applicants found provisionally eligible.

In case any such eligible applicant does not receive his/ her call letter in time or there is any discrepancy in respect of name, category no., post, community etc. in call letter, he/she should contact RRB / Allahabad.

Duplicate/corrected call letters can be obtained by applicants in person from the office of Railway Recruitment Board/Allahabad, at the above mentioned address between 10.00 to 17.00 hrs on 10/07/2009 for the above posts after submitting two clear copies of passport size photographs. He/she must carry proper document of proof of identity in original.

No duplicate/corrected call letter will be issued on the day of written examination. Free second class Railway passes will not be issued to any applicant for obtaining duplicate call letter nor will duplicate call letters have free travel facility.

Important: Beware of the touts who may misguide the candidates with false promises of getting them selected for the job on illegal consideration.

The recruitment process in the RRB exams is fully computerized and the selection is based purely on the merit of candidates.
