Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment 2010 Essential Qualifications:

1. A Degree of Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) from a University established by Law in India or a degree recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto or other recognized veterinary qualification as defined in Clause (e) of Section 2 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Act No. 52 of 1984), as amended from time to time.
2. Must be duly registered with the Uttar Pradesh Veterinary Council.

UP PSC Recruitment 2010 Preferential Qualification for Veterinary Medical Officer Jobs:

A candidate other things being equal, be given preference in the matter of direct UP PSC recruitment.

1. Has post graduate diploma. Degree or higher qualification; (or)
2. Served In the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years; (or)
3. Has obtained a "B" certificate of National Cadet Corps.

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment 2010 Essential Qualification for Director Jobs

1. Must possess a Post Graduate Degree in Economics or Statistics or Mathematical Statistics or Mathematics with Statistics or Econometrics.
2. A candidate for direct UP PSC recruitment to the post of Director must possess nine years experience in teaching or research or formulation or execution of planning and development, including experience relating to such work in specific projects or schemes or surveys or programming or manpower planning or human resources development.
3. A candidate for the post of Director who has publications in journals to his credit or who has been associated with the preparation of professional / technical study reports in subjects relevant to the post for which an PSC application is filed, shall, other things being equal, be given preference in the matter of appointment.
4. A candidate for a post in the service must also possess good knowledge of Hindi in Dev Nagri Script.
