Fire Service Department U.P. (Home Deptt.):
01 (One) Post of Chief Fire Officer which reserved for S.C. candidate of U.P.
Chief Fire Officer Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100/- Grade pay- Rs. 5400, Deptt no. S-1/12.
UPPSC 2010 Age Limit: 23-35 years (Age relaxation as per rules).
UPPSC Essential Qualification for Chief Fire Officer Jobs: Three year's degree in Fire Engineering from National Fire Service College, Nagpur or any equivalent degree from a recognised institution of comparable status. or Divisional Officers Course from National Fire College, Nagpur or equivalent course from recognised institution of comparable status.
Preferential Qualifications for Chief Fire Officer Vacancies:
- Knowledge of automobile repairing.
Experience of practical Fire fighting and handling major conflagrations.
candidate who has:
Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years (or)
Obtained a "B" certificate of National Cadet Corps. shall other things being equal, be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment.
Cane Department (Statistics) U.P.:
(1) 04 (Four) Posts of Statistical Assistant, Reservation- 02 posts are reserved for S.C. candidates of U.P., Deptt no.- S-1/10.
Statistical Assistant Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800/- (Grade pay Rs. 4200).
Nature of Statistical Assistant Post: Non gazetted / Temporary.
UPPSC 2010 Educational Qualification for Statistical Assistant Jobs:
Bachelor's degree with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognised university.
Working knowledge of Hindi
Preferential Qualification for Statistical Assistant Vacancies:
Training in a recognised Statistical Institute.
Experience of conducting of sample survey and handling data of Agriculture Statistics.
Ability to operate calculating machines.
A candidate who has:
Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, (or)
Obtained a "B" certificate of the National Cadet Corps. shall other things being equal, be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment.

UPPSC Essential Qualification for Field Investigator Jobs:
Bachelor's degree with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognised university.
Working knowledge of Hindi.
Preferential Qualification for Field Investigator Vacancy:
Training a recognised Statistical Institute.

Animal Husbandry Deptt. U.P.
37 (Thirty Seven) Posts of Veterinary Medical Officer: Under U.P. Veterinary Services class II.
Nature of Veterinary Medical Officer Posts: Gazetted / Temporary, but likely to be continued.
Veterinary Medical Officer Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100/- Rs. 5400 Grade pay (Deptt. No. S-2/4).
Reservation: 34 posts for S.C. candidates of U.P. and 03 posts for S.T. candidates of U.P. are reserved. The horizontal reservation shall be provided in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Present Govt. orders.
UPPSC 2010 Educational Qualification Veterinary Medical Officer Jobs:
A degree of Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) from a University established by law in India or a degree recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto or other recognised Veterinary qualification as defined in clause (c) of section 2 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Act no. 52 of 1984), as amended from time to time.
Must be duly registered with the Uttar Pradesh Veterinary Council.
Preferential Qualification for Veterinary Medical Officer Recruitment: A candidate other things being equal, be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment, If he:
Has postgraduate diploma, degree or higher qualification; (or)
He served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years; (or)
Has obtained a "B" certificate of National Cadet Corps.
