Department of Higher Education, U.P.

05 (Five) Posts of Registrar, under Uttar Pradesh State University (Centralized) Service.

Reservation: 02 Post reserved for Scheduled Caste and One Post reserved for Other Backward Class Candidates of U.P.

Nature of the post: Gazetted / Permanent.

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment 2010 Pay Scale:

Rs.10500-15850/- (New Pay Scale will be admissible as revised by the Government according to recommendation of 6th Pay Commission) (Department No.: S-3 / 3).

UP PSC Recruitment 2010 Essential Qualification for Registrar Jobs:

1. Graduate degree or it's equivalent qualification and good knowledge of Hindi and English.
2. At least 15 years experience in administrative and Supervisory level in any University, Government Office or Institute of Higher Education or at least 15 years teaching experience in Degree College or a University.

Preferential Qualification for Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission UPPSC Recruitment 2010:

1. Post Graduate Degree or its equivalent qualification.
2. Other things being equal, preference will be given to those candidates who have knowledge of working of University Authorities and conducting of University Examination and have been associated therewith, who possess proficiency in drafting and knowledge of problems concerning finance and accounts and have also aptitude for work relating to Public Relations.

UPPSC Recruitment 2010 Age Limit: 35-45 Years

1. The relaxation in upper age limit will be admissible as per rules for the candidates belonging to reserve categories.
2. In case a person who has already rendered at least one year service in any of the posts in the centralized services in the University, the maximum age limit shall be greater to the extent he has rendered continued service over the age limits mentioned as above.

Note: The horizontal reservation will admissible according to rules.

U.P., State Archaeology Department 01 (One) Post of Regional Archaeological Officer Recruitment in UPPSC 2010.

UP Public Service Commission Recruitment 2010 Pay Scale:

Rs.8000/- to 13500/- (New Pay Scale will be admissible as revised by the Government according to recommendation of 6th Pay Commission) Department No.: S-3 / 5.

UP Public Service Commission UPPSC Recruitment 2010 Essential Qualification:

1. A second class Master's Degree in Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology or in Indian Medieval History from a University established by Law in India or a Degree recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.
2. Diploma in Archaeology from a recognized Archaeological Institute and two years field experience of active participation in Archaeological Exploration or Excavation projects approved by Archaeological Survey of India or four years field experience of active participation in Archaeological Exploration or Excavation Project approved by Archaeological Survey of India.

Preferential Qualifications for Uttar Pradesh PSC Recruitment 2010:

Being other things equal the candidate will be given preference in the matter of direct UPPSC recruitment who has:

1. Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, (or)
2. Obtained 'B' Certificate of National Cadet Corps.

Age Limit for UP PSC Recruitment 2010: 25-35 years (Relaxation in age as per rule).
