4. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment 2010 Reservation :
(1) The Horizontal Reservation for Physically Handicapped of U.P. Dependant of Freedom Fighter of U.P. Ex Army Personnel of U.P. and women candidates of U.P. shall be given according to Present Government Order.
(2) The candidates must obtain their Certificate regarding reservation from the Competent Authority on the proforma available in this advertisement as well as website and they must submit the same when asked for All the candidates of reserved category of U.P. must mention their category / sub category in their UPPSC application forms otherwise reservation shall not be provided.
(3) If a candidate claims more than one reservation he will be provided one relaxation whichever is more beneficial to him.
(4) The benefit of reservation shall be provided to the residents of U.P. only. The Residents of Outside of U.P. must not claim any reservation. Such candidates shall be treated General and will purchase UPPSC OMR application forms of Genaral Category.
5. Conditions of Eligibility of Emergency Commissioned / Short Service Commissioned Officer :
(1) In accordance with the provisions of the GO. No. 22/10/1978-Karmik-2-85, Dated: 30.01.1985 Emergency Commissioned / Short Service Commission Officers who have not been released from Army but whose period of army service has been extended for rehabilitation may also apply for the examination on the following condition.
(A) Such applicants will have to obtain a certificate of the compentent Authority of Army, Navy, Air force to the effect that their period of service has been extended for rehabilitation and no disciplinary action is pending against them.
(B) Such applicants will have to submit in due course a written undertaking that in case they are selected for the post applied for, they will get themselves released immediately from the Army Service. The above facilities will not be admissible to Emergency / Short Service Commissioned Officer, If :
He gets permanent Commission in the Army.
He has been, released from the Army on tendering resignation.
He has been released from the Army on grounds of misconduct or Physical disability.
6. Marital Status : A male candidate who has more than one wife living or a female candidate who have married a man already having a wife living shall not be eligible for appointment to post in the service provided that the Government may.
If satisfied that there exist special grounds for doing so, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.
7. Age Limit for UPPSC 2010 :
(1) Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 35 years on July 1st 2010 i.e. they must have not been born earlier than 2nd July 1975 and not later than July 1st 1989.
(2) Relaxation in Upper age Limit :
(a) Upper age limit shall be greater by 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste of U.P. Scheduled Tribe of U.P. other Backward class of U.P. and Dependents of Freedom Fighters of U.P. (only domiciled persons in U.P. are entitled for such age relaxation) the upper age for PH of U.P. shall be greater by 15 years.
(b) The age relaxation shall be given by three years more than service rendered in Army for disabled Army Personnel / Emergency Commissioned officer / Short Service Commissioned Officers / Ex-army personnel.
(c) Upper age limit shall be greater by five years also for the Skilled Players of classified games of National and International level in accordance with G.O. No. 22/21 /1983-Karmik-2, Dated 28.11.1985 to those who are the domicile of U.P. The skilled players must obtain certificate from the prescribed authority and submit to the Commission when asked for and they must enclose the certificates with their UPPSC application forms for main examination.
(d) Such candidate who were otherwise eligible on 1st July 2007, 1st July,2008 and 1st July 2009but have become over age because no examination was conducted, they shall be treated eligible for the posts of Board of Revenue, U.P.
8. UPPSC 2010 Exam Fee :
(a) The fee shall be taken from every candidate with the cost of UPPSC OMR application form. The details are printed on the OMR envelopes. No fees has to be paid by the candidates through Treasury Challan or Bank Draft etc.
(b) The successful Candidates for Main Examination will be required to pay the fees for main examination, the fee for General Candidates, Other Backward Class candidates and candidates of other states is Rs.230/- and for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates of U.P. will be Rs.110/- only DFF, PH, Female and Ex-Army personnel will deposit their fees according to their main category for which they belong to.
