246 (Two Fourty Six) Posts of Veterinary Medical Officer: Under U.P. Veterinary Services class II.
Nature of Veterinary Medical Officer Posts: Gazetted / Temporary, but likely to continue.
Veterinary Medical Officer Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100/- Rs. Grade pay 5400, (Deptt. No. S-2/5).
Reservation: 52 posts for S.C. candidates of U.P., 65 posts for O.B.C. candidates of U.P. and 05 posts for S.T. candidates of U.P. are reserved. The horizontal reservation shall be provided in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Present Govt. orders.
(A) UPPSC Essential Qualification Veterinary Medical Officer Jobs:
A degree of Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) from a law in India or a qualification declared by the Government as equivalent there to.
Seven Years Practical experience in the desired field of environment.
(B) Preferential Qualifications for Veterinary Medical Officer Vacancy: Being other things equal the candidates having following qualifications will be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment.
A First class Master's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine, as the case may be, as per job requirement to the department, from a University establised by law in India or a qualification declared by the Government as equivalent there to, Or A Doctorate degree in Science or Engineering or Technology or Medicine.
Served in the territorial army for a minimum period of two years, (or)
Obtained a 'B' Certificate of National Cadet Corps.
UPPSC 2010 Age Limit: 21 to 40 Years (Age relaxation as per rules).

Nature of the Librarian Post: Non Gazetted / Temporary but likely to be continued.
Reservation: The Post reserved for Scheduled Tribe Candidates of U.P. but in case of non availability of S.T. Candidate of U.P., the said post may be filled with the S.C. Candidates of U.P.
Librarian Pay Scale: Rs. 8000-13500/- (New Pay Scale will be admissible as revised by the Govt. according to recommendation of 6th pay Commission) (Deptt. No.- S-3/9).
UPPSC 2010 Educational Qualification Librarian Jobs:
(A) Good academic record with atleast 55% of the Marks or an equivalent grade of B in 7 point scale with letter grade O,A,B,C,D,E,& F at Master’s Degree Level in Library Science / information Science / Documentation and Knowledge of Library computerization.
(B) Have cleared NET in the relevant subject, U.G.C. accredited SLET of Utter Pradesh in relevant subject or SLET in the relevent subject conducted by the other States of India prior to June, 2002.
Note: In reference to the post as mentioned above to clear NET or SLET remain compulsory requirement for appointment as Librarian in Govt. Degree Colleges of U.P. However, The candidates having Ph.D. Degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET or SLET. The candidate having M.Phil Degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET or SLET but they are eligible teaching to U.G. Level only.
Explanation:
A relaxation of 5% shall be admissible from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Master’s Level for SC / ST category.
A relaxation of 5% shall be admissinle from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. Degree holders who have passed their Master’s degree prior to 19th, September, 1991.
A relaxation of minimum marks at the P.G. level from 55% to 50% for appointment as lecturer shall be admissible to the candidates who have cleared the JRF examination conducted by U.G.C. / C.S.I.R only prior to 1989.
A relaxation of the minimum marks at the P.G. level from 55% to 50% for those candidates who are Physically Handicapped or Blind.
Grade ‘B’ seven point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E, & F shall be regarded as equivalent 55% whenever the grading system is followed.
Good academic record is defined as under: A Minimum 50% Marks in the relevant Bachelor’s degree However a relaxation of 5% marks shall be admissible to such candidates of S.C. / S.T. category who have cleared NET or SLET or hold equivalent Ph.D. degree.
