U.P. Chikitsa Shiksha (Ayurvedic) Deptt.:
1) 02 (Two) carry forwarded posts of Professor Dravya Gun in Government Ayurvedic Medical Colleges of U.P. (Deptt. No.- S-11/4),
Nature of Professor Post: Gazetted and Temporary.
Reservation: 01 post is reserved for O.B.C. candidates of U.P.
Professor Pay Scale: Rs. 12000-325- 16500/-.
UPPSC Essential Qualification Professor Jobs:
Five years degree in Ayurveda from a University established by law or five years degree from the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh or any other State Board or Faculty which is registerable under the United Provinces Indian Medicine Act. 1939.
Ten years teaching experience of the subject (Eight years only in case of Post Graduate) including three years on the post of Reader in a recognised institution.
Working knowledge of Hindi, English and Sanskrit.
Preferential Qualification for Professor Vacancy:
Post-Graduate qualification from a recognised institution.
Research work and publication of original papers and books.
UPPSC 2010 Age Limit: 30 to 50 years (age relaxation as per rules).
Note:
The selected candidates may be transfered in any Government Ayurvedic Medical Colleges of the State on any equivalent post.
Pay scale of the post will be revised as per recommendation of sixth pay commission.
The new pension scheme will be applicable which is to be as declared by U.P. Government.
Candidates will have to annexe all semester's marksheets essentially, along with other all certificates. Regarding essential qualification no.-3, candidates will have to annexe related certificates / marksheets about adequate knowledge of Hindi, English and Sanskrit.
Female candidates of unreserved category of U.P. shall be produced certificate of domicile in U.P. on behalf of her father, otherwise they may not be entitled for female reservation of said category.

Note:
Experience certificate should be of full time paid post in an institution recognised by Government and issued by appointing authority and it should be counter signed by Director Ayurved or by a competent Authority of Govt. Experience of unpaid or part time post will not be acceptable. Facility of private practice after duty period to the candidates may be admissible with the condition that if in future this facility is with drawn Govt. will not be bound to pay any non practicing allowance.

Candidates will have to annexe all semesters support of their category a certificate issued by competent authority on the proforma available in this detailed advertisement and shall submit the same to the Commission when asked for.
All reserved candidates of U.P. must mention their category / sub-category in the UPPSC application form.
Candidates claiming reservation in more than one category will be entitled to only one concession, whichever is more beneficial to them.
The Scheduled caste, Scheduled tribe, Other Backward class and dependents of freedom fighters, physically handicapped, Ex. Army personnel and women candidates who are not the permanent resident of U.P. shall not be given the benefit of reservation. Such candidates shall be treated as the candidates of general category.
Serial Number must be mentioned on the certificates / marksheets which are being enclosed with the UPPSC application form and it should also be mentioned at the appropriate place in the UPPSC application form.
