English Literature (Subject Code-29)
This paper will be designed to test candidates first hand reading of the texts prescribed and their understanding of the main Literary trends from Shakespeare to the modern age.
Candidate will be required to answer five questions. Question No. 1 will be compulsory. In this question, candidates will be asked to explain, with reference to the context,any three out of six passages from the texts prescribed for detailed study.
