1. It is essential to have passed High School Examination with Science of Intermediate Education Board U.P. or passed any equivalent recognized examination.
2. Candidates must have Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering from any Technical Institutions recognised by Government and must have 5 years experience in related sinuses.

1. Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of 2 years (or)

21 - 35 years. Maximum-age to the reserved category candidates is greater by 5 years. In case of a person who has already rendered one year service or more in any of the centralized service or in the Palika, the maximum age limit shall be greater to the extent, he has rendered continuous service or a period of seven years, which ever is less.
