UP Public Service Commission Recruitment 2010 Pay Scale:

Rs.6500 - 10500 (old) (New Pay Scale will be admissible as revised by the Government according to recommendation of 6 Pay Commission) (Department no.: S-3 / 4).

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment 2010 Essential Qualification for Regional Archives Officer:

1. A Master's Degree with second division Medieval Indian History or Modern Indian History with at least 50 percent marks from University established by Law in India or a Degree recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.
2. One year Diploma in Archival studies from National Archives.
3. Five years experience in historical research in a State Archive.
4. Five Years working experience as Technical Assistant (Class-III) in State or Central Government Archives.

UP PSC Recruitment 2010 Preferential Qualification for Regional Archives Officer Jobs:

Being other things equal the candidate will be given preference in the matter of Direct Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment who has:

1. Good knowledge of Hindi, (or)
2. Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of Two Years, (or)
3. Obtained 'B' certificate of National Cadet Corps.

The cost of the UPPSC O.M.R. application forms has been fixed as Rs.140/- for Series DIRGEN (General candidates, OBC candidates of U.P. and all candidates of other States) and Rs.100/- for Series DIRRE8 (SC of U.P. ST of U.P.).

The candidates under horizontal reservation (PH of U.P., D.F.F. of U.P. women of U.P. and Ex-Army personnel candidates of U.P.) shall purchase UP PSC Recruitment application form according to their main category.

2. The candidates must keep a Photocopy of their O.M.R. application form with them. They must mention their OMR Form No. in the correspondence with the Commission in future.

Form set purchased from the Post Office will contain Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment 2010 OMR application form, conventional UPPSC Recruitment application form, one envelope and Instructions booklet.
