TNPSC Departmental Examinations May 2010.
The Next TNPSC Departmental Examinations for Government Servants will be held from 24-5-2010 (Monday) to 31-5-2010 (Monday) For the ensuing Departmental Examination i.e. May 2010 also, the candidates have to apply only through online. (TNPSC Departmental Exam Application Forms will not be supplied by the Commission).
Candidates should avail the facility of registering Online on the TNPSC Departmental Exam website www.tnpsc.gov.in with Cost of Registration of Rs.30/-and Examination Fee of Rs.50/- for each test.
Candidates may kindly note that the Departmental Examinations-May 2010 will be held at 32 District Centres in Tamil Nadu and also in New Delhi Centre.
Examination / Registration Fee:
Candidates should make sure that they have acquired the Postal Receipts obtained from anyone of the post offices listed in the Commission's Notification for the requisite number of tests that they are applying for, before registering Online.
Candidates should check up the correctness of the particulars in the Postal Receipts enclosed with their Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Departmental Exam applications. If the Postal Receipts are not enclosed or if the Postal Receipts sent by them are found defective or invalid, their Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Departmental Exam applications will be rejected.
The Postal Receipts should have been obtained on or after the date on which the advertisement notifying the Departmental Examination, May 2010 is published in the dailies.
"Candidates will note that Registration fee of Rs.30/- also will have to be included to the total amount of Examination fee prescribed for the tests applied for excluding postal service charges Rs.5/- and obtain the postal receipt only".
As regards New Delhi candidates, the examination fee should be paid only by crossed "Account Payee" Demand Draft obtained from any Nationalised / Scheduled Bank payable at Chennai City. Not applicable to New Delhi candidates.

The Examination fee and the Test Code details and, the name of 284 Post Office listed are available on the TNPSC Departmental Exam website www.tnpsc.gov.in.
The candidates should register their particulars online till 5-45 p.m. on 31-03-2010. In the printout generated from the website, they should sign both in the TNPSC Departmental Application Form and identification certificate and should send their signed TNPSC Departmental Exam application form along with the enclosures (if any) and Postal Receipt to the Commission's office before 6-4-2010 5-45 p.m. without fail.
The last date for the receipt of Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Departmental Exam applications in the Commission's Office is 6-4-2010. The results of the Departmental Examinations held in December 2009 is being published in the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Bulletins dated 7-3-2010 and 16-3-2010.
The copies of the said Bulletins will be sent to all the District Collectors and Tahsildars. The candidates may verify their results from the Collectorates / Taluk Offices.
