15. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Recruitment 2010 Application Forms:

A. TNPSC OMR application form along with an Information Brochure containing General Instructions for filling up the TNPSC application form, Commission's 'Instructions, etc. to candidates' and an envelope for sending TNPSC application form can be obtained from any one of the Head Post Offices or Selected Sub-Post Offices (284 Nos.) in Tamil Nadu / Puducherry on payment of Rs.307- (Rupees Thirty only). (The list showing the names of Post Offices is available in the TNPSC website www.tnpsc.gov.in.)

B. TNPSC OMR application forms can also be obtained in person from the Sales Counter of the office on all the working days till the closing date upto 5.00 p.m. (Excluding lunch interval between 1.30 and 2.00 p.m.) only on cash payment of Rs.30/- (Rupees Thirty only).

TNPSC Application forms will not be supplied to the candidates by Post.

C. Candidates should use only the TNPSC OMR application form. No other typed or printed or Xeroxed / Photocopy of the TNPSC application form will be accepted and such TNPSC application form, if any received, will be summarily rejected.

D. Candidates can also avail of the facility of applying Online on the TNPSC website www.tnpsc.qov.in. Candidates applying Online should possess and keep ready Postal receipt for Rs.130/- (i.e. TNPSC Application Form fee Rs.30/- and Examination fee Rs.100/-) obtained from any one of the Head Post Offices / selected Sub-Post Offices, listed in the Information Brochure before registering Online.

Candidates claiming exemption from payment of Examination fee should possess and keep ready Postal receipt for Rs.30/- towards the TNPSC application form fee. The Postal receipt obtained for the payment of TNPSC Application Form Fee / Examination Fee should be pasted in the space provided in the TNPSC application form. Candidates applying Online shall also abide by the Commission's instructions laid down in this Notification / Advertisement / Commission's 'Instructions etc. to candidates' / Information Brochure.

Candidates applying Online should send the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission applications (i.e. The printout generated from the web site and signed by the candidates) with the Postal Receipt along with attested copies of Certificates so as to reach the Commission's office on or before the last date for receipt of Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission applications, failing which his / her application will be rejected. The facility of applying Online will be closed on 03-04-2010 at 5.45.p.m.

16. Receipt of TNPSC Application Form:

(A) Candidates are advised to verify the following aspects also before sending their filled in TNPSC OMR applications to the Commission's office:

1. Signature by the candidate below the declaration in Ballpoint pen or fountain pen only. Failure to sign will entail rejection of his / her TNPSC application form.
2. Post Code Nos. should be specified in the preferential order for selection in column 24 and the boxes there under shaded without fail.
3. Columns 1,1(a), 3,4,14 (b), 14 (c),14(d) and 22 (Optional Subject-1 & 2) in the OMR application form should be filled up based on the details available in this Notification / Advertisement.
4. Candidates applying for the posts under post code No. 1848 should send evidence as mentioned in note under para 10 and shade item 17 under column 26 of the TNPSC OMR application.

(B) Filled in Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission applications must be sent well in advance so as to reach the Commission's Office before 5.45 p.m. on 05-04-2010.
