14. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Exam 2010 Application Form:
a) TNPSC OMR application form along with an Information Brochure containing General Instructions for filling up the TNPSC application form, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission's 'Instructions, etc., to candidates' and an envelope for sending TNPSC Exam application can be obtained from any one of the Head Post Offices (or) selected Sub-Post Offices (284 Nos.) in Tamil Nadu / Puducherry on payment of Rs. 30/-.
(The list showing the names of TNPSC Application Post Offices is available at the Commissions on TNPSC website: www.tnpsc.gov.in).
b) TNPSC OMR application forms can also be obtained in person from the sales counter of the office to the following address.

On all the working days till the closing date upto 5.00 p.m. (excluding lunch interval between 1.30 and 2.00 p.m.) on cash payment of Rs.30/-. TNPSC Group 1 Application forms will not be supplied to the candidates by Post.
c) Candidates should use only the TNPSC OMR application form. No other typed or printed or Xeroxed / Photocopy of the TNPSC application form will be accepted and such TNPSC Recruitment application, if any received, will be summarily rejected.
Note: The TNPSC OMR Application Forms Bearing Numbers AA 000001 to AA 1,00,000 found in the OMR Application Covers Bearing Numbers: AG 000001 to AG 1,00,000 are treated as TNPSC Exam Application Forms in 'AG' Series.
d) Candidates can also avail of the facility of TNPSC Apply Online at the Commission's on TNPSC website: www.tnpsc.gov.in.
Candidates applying TNPSC Online should possess and keep ready Postal Receipt for Rs.105/- (i.e. TNPSC Application fee Rs.30/- and TNPSC Examination fee Rs. 75/-) obtained from any one of the Post Offices listed in the TNPSC Information Brochure to candidates before registering Online.
Candidates claiming exemption from payment of TNPSC Examination fee should possess and keep ready Postal Receipt for Rs.30/- towards the application fee. The Postal Receipt obtained for the payment of Application Fee / Examination Fee should be pasted in the space provided in the TNPSC Group 1 application form.
Candidates applying TNPSC Online shall also abide by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission's instructions laid down in TNPSC Group 1 Notification 2010 / TNPSC Latest Advertisement / Commission's 'Instructions, etc., to candidates' / TNPSC Information Brochure to candidates.
Candidates applying TNPSC Online should send the TNPSC Recruitment applications (i.e. The printout generated from the website and signed by the candidate) with the Postal Receipt along with attested copies of required Certificates so as to reach the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission's office on or before the last date for receipt of TNPSC Exam applications, failing which his / her application will be rejected.
The TNPSC Online Application Form will be closed at 5.45 p.m. on 27-01-2010.
15. Receipt for TNPSC Group 1 Application Form 2010:
(A) Candidates are advised to verify the following aspects also before sending their filled in TNPSC OMR applications to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission's office:
Signature by the candidate in ball point pen or fountain pen only in the TNPSC OMR application below the declaration. Failure to sign will entail rejection of his / her application.
Columns 1, 1 (a), 3, 4 and 24 in the TNPSC OMR application form filled up based on the details available in this TNPSC 2010 Notification / TNPSC Current Advertisement.
Self Certificate, as specified in Note under para 5 (B) with due signature (if applicable).
(B) Filled in TNPSC Recruitment applications must be sent well in advance, so as to reach the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission's Office before 5.45 p.m. on 29-01-2010.
