Other terms and conditions for the above post(S) :

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of customs , manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.D.Q.2 for item A-1,A-2 & A-3:-.Publication of research papers in Index Journals

2. Fee in shape of Bank draft for Rs. 250/-(Rupees two hundred fifty)only,Rs.63/-(Rupees sixty three for SC / ST / OBC of H.P.only), must accompany the applications , payable at Shimla to the Secretary ,HPPSC, Nigam Vihar , Shimla-171002 (HP). Ex-servicemen unless discharged at their own request before completion of normal tenure, are exempted from payment of application fee. Visually handicapped candidates are xempted from payment of application fee.Fee once paid will not be refunded.

3. Category once claimed in the application form will not be changed later on .

4. Number of post(s) is / are tentative and may increase or decrease for different categories.

5. Candidates will be called for interview based on merit in the screening test in cases where umber of eligible candidates for the post(s) is very large .

6. Attested copies of testimonials / documents in support of age date of birth, category to which he / she belongs as applicable, educational qualification and experience besides fee in shape of bank draft must be enclosed with the application failing which application will be rejected. Separate application will have to be sent for each category of post(s). In service candidates may apply to the Commission with requisite fee and documents as advance copy, with information to his / her Head of Department / Office for issuing NOC.

7. The candidates belonging to reserve categories (except Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ward of Freedom Fighter) are required to give with their application a self declaration, format of which is given at the end of application form in support of their claim for such a category. However, category certificates will be produced by them at the time of viva-voce. The candidates belonging to SC / ST / WFF will submit their testimonials alongwith application form.

8. The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for admission to interview or selection will be final and no correspondence / personal enquiries will be entertained. The Commission will not be responsible for any delay in receipt of applications, due to any reasons whatsoever.

Note :-

• The candidates must attach self addressed post card with application for acknowledgement , indicating the name of the post applied for ,date of despatch and Bank Draft No
• SC / ST / OBC certificates must be on parental basis of H.P.
• The candidates belonging to H.P. will only be considered against the posts reserved for Ex-servicemen.
• Re-checking / re-evaluation will not be allowed .
• Experience etc., if any , will be counted after obtaining E.Q. for the post applied for up to 30-09-2007 (15-10-2007)..
• Disputes, if any , shall be subject to Court jurisdiction at Shimla.
