Recruitment of Ex-Navy / Ex-Coast Guard Peraonnel as Sub Inspector / Head Constable and Grade I Police Constable (Men only) For Marine Police Stations
Applications are invited from the citizens of India, who served in Indian Navy / Indian Coast Guard as Chief Petty Officer, Artificer IV, V, Seaman I, II, Adhikari, Pradhan Navik, Uttam Yantrik, Uttam Navik and Yantrik for the recruitment to the posts of Sub Inspector of Police / Head Constable and Grade I Police Constable to serve in Tamil Nadu Police Coastal Security Group, CID, Marine Police Stations

Pay: As admissible in Tamil Nadu Police Department
Scale of Pay:
| (i) For SubInspector of Police: | Rs.9300 - 34800 + GP 4300 |
| (ii) For Head Constable: | Rs.5200 - 20200 + GP 2400 |
| (iii) For Grade 1 Police Constable: | Rs.5200 - 20200 + GP 2000 |
Terms and Conditions:
A written test will be conducted. After conduct of the Written Test and Aptitude Test, an interview will be held by the Special Committee members. The marks allocated for the Interview are 10, while the marks for the Written Test and Aptitude test will be 90. Totaling 100. If a candidate scores 40 and above marks, he will be selected against the vacancies.
Appointment is on contract basis for a period of one year and the services will be terminated if found unsatisfactory.
If the services are required beyond one year, it will be renewed for 2 more years, provided their services are found satisfactory.
Medical Concession: They will be eligible for medical concession which is normally extended to Officers of comparable ranks in the same grade in the Government of Tamil Nadu.
The leave terms will be regulated according to Annexure VI to rules under Tamil Nadu Fundamental Rules 59.
Uniform: The free supply of uniform grant shall be applicable as in the case of serving Constables / Head Constables / Sub Inspector of Police as the case may be.
Food articles at subsidised price: The supply of essential food articles shall be applicable as in the case of Constables / Head Constables / Sub Inspector of Police as the case may be.
Pensionary benefits: The incumbent shall not be eligible for any pensionary benefit including gratuity.
