1. Sourthern Naval Command Applications are invited from candidates who fulfil the prescribed criteria for the under mentioned post at Southern Naval Command, Kochi, Kerala.

Telephone Operator Gde-ll
(PB-1 Rs.5200-20200. Grade Pay Rs.2000). | Age: between 18-27 as on 31 Jan 2010.
Essential: - Matriculation or its equivalent with English as a compulsory subject.
- Proficiency in handling of PBX Board.
Desirable: Fluency in spoken English. | * Reservation for Ex-Serviceman and VH is on horizontal basis |
Note : The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxed at the discretion of Competent Authority in the SC/ST if at any stage of selection the Competent Authority is of the opinion that sufficient numbers of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.
Age Relaxation for Sourthern Naval Command: (admissible for following categories):
- For SC/ST: Relaxation up to 05 (Five) years.
- For OBC: Relaxation up to 03 (Three) years.
- For PH: Relaxation up to 10 (Ten) years + Caste relaxation as above [(i)/(ii)]
For EX-Servicemen: Relaxation as per Government, rules that every "Ex-serviceman who has put in not less than six months continuous services in the Armed Forces of the Union shall be allowed to deduct the period of such service from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post for which he seeks appointment by more than three years in addition to the caste relaxation mentioned above [(i)/(ii)].
For Government, servants: Relaxation upto 40 (forty) years of age in addition to the caste relaxation mentioned above [(i)/(ii)] for those employees who have rendered at least three years continuous service under Government.
N.B". In addition to the pay indicated, the posts carry allowances/benefits as admissible from time to time at Central Government rates. Applications in A4 size paper in English in the following format together with copies of certificates duly attested by a Gazetted Officer in support of age, educational qualification, experience, caste etc.
Should be forwarded to the Flag Officer Commanding-In-Chief (For Staff Officer 'CRC'), Southern Naval Command, Kochi-682004, Kerala within three weeks from the date of publication.
Note :-
Applicants Who are working in Central Govt / State Govt, should apply through proper channel along with NOC from Employer.
Applications with insufficient details/certificates etc. will be rejected.
If the number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large and is inconvenient for the department to examine all the candidates, the department may restrict the number of candidates to an acceptable limit based on higher qualification/experience.
