ITBP Recruitment for the post of Head Constable (Midwife).

ITBP Applications are invited for filling up the following Group 'C' post in ITB Police from Female Indian citizens for Head Constable (Midwife).

Last date for receipt of ITBP Application Form 2010 is 01/07/2010 for all States except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul & Spiti Distt. and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba Distt of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 15/07/2010.

Note :

1. The ITBP posts are temporary but likely to become permanent.
2. They will be governed under New Defined Contribution Pension Scheme as notified vide Govt, of India, Ministry of Finance notification dated 22.12.2003.
3. The number of Vacancies in ITBP are subject to variation.
4. Upper age limit is relaxable upto 3 years for OBC candidates.
5. Relaxation for Government Servant up to 5 years in accordance with the instructions / orders issued by the Central Govt., is admissible.
6. 10% of the vacancies in each category are reserved for Ex-servicemen (only for female).
7. Additional relief and rehabilitation for victims of riots in 1984 and communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat :
1. The children and dependent family members of those who were killed in the riots (1984 riots and communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat) would be eligible to get this benefit.

Children means Son (including adopted son) or daughter (including adopted daughter), Dependent family members mean: Spouse: or children: or brother or sister in the case of unmarried Govt, servant, who was wholly dependent on the Govt. Servant at the time of his killing in the riot.

Children and dependent family members of those killed in the riots (1984 riots and 2002 communal riots of Gujarat) will produce a certificate from the concerned District Collector.

2. The children and dependent family members of those killed in the riots should produce a certificate to that effect from the concerned District Collectors. A candidate can apply against vacancies in any State / UT if he fulfills other conditions, however, to avail the present relaxation he has to produce the certificate from the District, wherein the victim was killed.
3. Five years of Age relaxation will be granted to the children and dependent family members of those killed in the riots (1984 riots and communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat). SC / ST / OBC relaxation, as per Govt, instructions, will be in addition.
8. Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years to all persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01st day of January 1980 to the 31st day of December 1989 shall be eligible for relaxation in the upper age limit by five years in support of which the proof of residence must be submitted alongwith the application form duly signed by :
1. The District Magistrate within whose jurisdiction he had ordinarily resided Or
2. Any other authority designated in this behalf by the Govt, of J&K to the effect that he had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 1.1.80 to 31.12.89.
9. Ex-servicemen (only for female) being trained soldier, only written test, trade test and medical fitness test to ascertain medical category will be conducted. Relaxation of upper age limit to the extent of military service plus 03 years is applicable. NO PET is required to be qualified by an Ex-serviceman.
10. Cut-off date (for age) will be 1st July 2010.

Other Allowances for Head Constable Jobs in ITBP 2010 :

1. Dearness Allowance as per Central Govt. rates.
2. Free ration while posted in specified border areas or Ration Money in other areas as per rate admissible from time to time.
3. Special Compensatory Allowance while posted in specified border areas.
4. Detachment Allowance while on detachment duty.
5. Washing Allowance as per rate admissible from time to time.
6. Free residential accommodation or house rent in lieu as per rules.
7. Free medical facilities as per rules.
8. Free Leave Pass / Leave Travel Concession as per rules.
9. Children Education Allowance as per rules.
10. Free uniform & clothing as admissible under the rules.

The candidate appearing for the ITBP post should mention / intimate if any criminal case(s) is/are pending / lodged against her in any police station / Hon'ble court.
