Indo Tibetan Border Police Force Recruitment 2009 (Assistant Commandant)

Recruitment for the Post of Assistant Commandant (Telecom) Inpo-Tibetan Border Police Force.

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for filling up 11 (Eleven) posts of Assistant Commandant (Telecom) (Group-'A' Non ministerial Combatised Post) in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (MHA) Govt, of India.

General-06, SC-02, OBC-03

Pay Scale: Rs.8000-13,500/-(Pre-revised)

The posts are temporary but likely to continue. On joining the organization, selected candidates will be governed by ITBPF Act 1992 and ITBPF Rules-1994 as amended from time to time and selected candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in Union of India or outside.

The candidates called for interview shall be paid travelling expenses as admissible under the provision of Ministry of Finance, Govt, of India Decision No.08 below SR 132).

As per this order ordinary bus fare or single 2nd class rail fare chargeable by passenger train by the shortest route from the railway station nearest to the normal place of residence or from which they actually perform the journey whichever is nearer to the place of interview and for distances in excess of 250 Kms for both outward and return journey shall be payable to the candidates appearing for the interview.

However, in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, 2nd class rail fare or bus fare shall be payable to the candidates provided that the fare of the first 30 Kms for both outward and return journey is borne by the candidate.

Concession/Allowances:

In addition to above scale of pay, DA, HRA and transport allowance wherever admissible, as per the Government orders will be payable. The applicants will also be entitled to the following concessions/allowances:-

  1. Free ration in kind when posted to specified Border areas.
  2. Special compensatory allowance (remote locality) allowance at varying rates ranging between Rs.160/- to Rs.lOOO/pm when posted to specified Border/Hill areas.
  3. Free supply of fuel at Army scale for heating and washing purposes at certain heights.
  4. Rent-free un-furnished family accommodation at Bn Hqrs and Training Centres. In forward areas, camp type single accommodation will be provided free of cost.
  5. Special duty allowance at 12/2 % of pay when posted in the North-East including Sikkim & Leh.
  6. Initial uniform grant Rs.6500/- (pre-revised) (in two installments). Renewal uniform grant Rs.3000/- after every 07 years and kit maintenance allowance at the rate of Rs.l50/-p.m.(Pre-revised) as per Govt, orders.
