ITBP Recruitment 2010 Inspector / Hindi Translator
Indo Tibetan Border Police Force Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of 06 posts of Inspector / Hindi Translator in the Pay Band of Rs.9300-34,800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4600 on deputation in ITB Police Recruitment. Persons selected for deputation can be posted in any Battalion of ITB Police located all over India.
Eligibility for deputation for the post of Inspector / Hindi Translator in ITBP 2010 Recruitment :
From amongst Officers of Central Government Departments or Central Police Organisations holding analogous or equivalent posts and possessing qualification & experience as under :
Master's Degree of a recognised University in Hindi or English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at Degree level Or
Master's Degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi & English as compulsory or elective or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as compulsory subject at degree level Or
Master's Degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi or English as medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject as medium of examination at degree level Or
Bachelor's Degree of a recognised University with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subject or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory / elective subject, plus a recognised Diploma / Certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central Government / State Government Departments including Government of India Undertakings or equivalent.
Working knowledge of computer application.
Three years experience in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa.

Note :
The minimum standard so far as it relates to height may be relaxed to 165 cms for males and 155 cms for females belonging to the hill areas of Garhwal, Kumaon, Himachal Pradesh, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, Sikkimies, Leh and Ladakh, Kashmir Valley, North Eastern States.
The minimum standard so far as it relates to height may be relaxed to 162.5 cms for males and 154 cms for females of Scheduled Tribes including Mizos and Nagas.

ITBP Medical Standards for Inspector / Hindi Translator Jobs :
Eye Sight : Should be medically fit in all respects, (Eye sight 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e. without wearing glasses).
The candidates must not have knock-knee, flat foot / Varicose Vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performances of the duties.
Note :
The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in same or some other organisation or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily, not exceed three years. The maximum age-limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 52 years as on the closing date of receipt of ITBP application.
For ex-service men deputation & re-employment. The Armed Forces personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having requisite experience and qualifications prescribed for deputationists shall also be considered. Such persons would be given deputation terms upto the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces, thereafter they may be continued on re-employment.
Other Conditions for ITB Police Recruitment 2010 :
Only such applications for the above posts received within 45 days from date of issue of this ITBP Advertisement will be considered. The applications should be sent through proper channel in given proforma duly filled in along with service particulars, photocopies of ACRs of last five years, DE Vigilance Clearance Certificate and details of major and minor punishments, if any, during last ten years.
During deputation, services of personnel selected for deputation will be governed by the provisions revised from time to time and mentioned in DOP&T OM No.2/29/91 Estt (Pay- II) dated 05-01-1994, No.2/6/2009-Estt (Pay-II) dated 25-02-2009 and No.2.22 (B)/2008-Estt. (Pay-II) dated 3/09/ 2008.
Advance copies of ITBP 2010 applications sent by applicants & applications received late will not be considered. If once nomination is sent then application regarding withdrawal of nomination will not be entertained.
