Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force Recruitment for the Post of Head Constable (Dresser Veterinary).

ITBP Constables are invited from eligible male Indian citizens for filling up the vacancies of Head Constable (Dresser Veterinary) Group - 'C' on temporary basis likely to be permanent in Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force.

The Head Constable Post has all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidates shall be governed by the ITBPF Act and Rules.

The Last date of receipt of ITBP Constable is 22nd December 2009 for all states except North - Eastern states, Sikkim, Ladakh division of J&K State, Lahaul - Spiti District and Pangi Sub - Division of Chamba District of HP, Andaman & Nicobar Island and Lakshadweep for which last date is 29th December 2009.

Pay Scale and Other Allowances for ITBP Recruitments:

Pay Scale: Rs.5200 - 20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2, 400/- per month.

Other allowances:

The post will carry Dearness Allowance, Ration Money, Washing Allowance as admissible from time to time.

Special Compensatory Allowance while posted in specified border areas, free uniform, free accommodation or HRA, Transport Allowance, Free leave pass and any other allowance as admissible in the Force from time to time under the rules / instructions.

They will be covered under new restructured defined contributory pension system.

A candidate appearing for the test should mention / intimate if any criminal case(s) is / are pending / lodged against him in any police station / Hon'ble court.

1. 10% of the vacancies in each category are reserved for Ex-Serviceman.
2. The vacancies of SC / ST / OBC also include the backlog vacancies in respective categories.
