Filling up of the Post of Captain (Pilot), Co - Pilot, Deputy Chief Engineer, Senior Store Provisioning Officer, Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and Store Provisioning Officer (Group 'A' Combatised Posts).

In BSF Air Wing (Rotary Wing) on Transfer on Deputation/Absorption/Short - Term Contract/Re - Employment Basis.

It has been proposed to fill up the posts of Captain (Pilot), Co - Pilot, Deputy Chief Engineer, Senior Store Provisioning Officer, Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Store Provisioning Officer, Group 'A' Gazetted (Combatised) posts in the BSF Air Wing (Rotary Wing) of Border Security Force on deputation/absorption/short term contract/re-employment basis for a period of 3 years.

The eligibility conditions are as under:

Captain (Pilot)

Pay Scale: PB - 4 Rs.37400 - 67000 + Grade Pay Rs.8900/- Flying incentive Rs.1800/- per actual flying hour.

A. Deputation/Re - Employment

Serving/retired IAF Officers in the rank of GP CAPT (Pre - revised pay scale of Rs.15100 - 17350). (or)

WG CDR (pre - revised pay scale of Rs.13500 - 400 - 17100) and possessing following qualifications:

1. Current Military Flying Category on Helicopters with Master Green/B Green rating with medically fit Flying.
2. 3000 hours Flying Experience.
3. Minimum 1000 hrs as Pilot in Command on Multi Engine/Single Engine Helicopter with 100 Hours Night Flying as Pilot in Command.
4. Preference shall be given to persons with experience on MI - 17/MI - 8 type Multi Engine Helicopter with accident free flying and QFI.

Co-Pilot

Pay Scale: PB - 4 Rs.37400 - 67000 + Grade Pay Rs.8700/- Flying incentive Rs.1500/- per actual flying hour.

A. Deputation/Re - Employment

Serving/retired IAF Officers in the rank of Wing CDR (pre - revised pay scale of Rs.13500 - 400 - 17100). (or)

SQN LDR (pre - revised pay scale of Rs.11600 - 325 - 14850) and possessing following qualifications:-

Mi - 17 - Helicopter

1. Current Military flying Category on Helicopters with medically, fit flying.
2. 1500 hours flying Experience.
3. Minimum 500 hrs as Pilot in Command on Multi Engine/Single Engine Helicopter with 50 hours Night flying as Pilot in Command.
4. Preference shall be given to persons with experience on MI - 17/MI - 8 type Multi Engine Helicopter with accident. Free flying and QFI.

Deputy Chief Engineer

Pay scale: PB - 4 Rs.37400 - 67000 + Grade Pay Rs.8700/- Flying incentive - Rs.750/- per certification.

A. Deputation/Absorption/Short term contract

Officer under Central/State Government/Public under taking holding analogous posts and possessing qualifications and experience prescribed as under:

1. Should be holding Degree in Engineering or equivalent and trained in Helicopter available with BSF.
2. Preference is given to person who is having Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent and qualified on flying duties and has carried flight engineer duties with a minimum of 1500 Flying hours on helicopters/aircrafts.
3. Total Aircraft Maintenance Experience of 15 years including one tenure in BRD/ Aviation workshop of IAF.

B. Re - Employment

Retired Armed Forces personnel possessing qualifications and experience as prescribed at (A) (i) & (ii) above and held analogous/equivalent post in the Armed Forces of Union.

The break in service should not be more than three years.

Senior Stores Provisioning Officer

Pay Scale: PB - 3 Rs.15600 - 39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600/-

A. Deputation/Re - Employment

Serving and retired IAF Officers in the rank of SQN LDR in the pre - revised pay scale of Rs.11600 - 325 - 14850 and possessing following qualification:-

1. Degree from recognized University.
2. Twelve years experience, in Stores, Accounting and Administration. (or)

1. Degree from recognized University.
2. One year course in Stores Management/Material Management from a recognised Institute.
3. Twelve years experience in Stores, Provisioning and knowledge of procedure relating to purchase and imports of aviation goods and modern method of inventory control.
4. Preference shall be given to persons with experience on MI - 17/MI - 8 type Multi engine helicopter.
