Appointment of Superintendent in the Regional Evaluation Office of the Programme Evaluation Organisation, Planning Commission at Lucknow and Mumbai on deputation basis.

1. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment on deputation basis to the posts of Superintendent (Group 'B' - Non-gazetted) in the Pay Band (2) Rs.9300-34800 plus Grade Pay of Rs.4200 (pre-revised scale of pay-of Rs.5500-175-9000) one each in the Regional Evaluation Office of the Programme Evaluation Organisation, Planning Commission at Lucknow and Mumbai.

2. Eligibility Criteria, Pay and other conditions of service of the officials appointed will be regulated in accordance with the Department of Personnel & Training O.M No.21 29/91-Estt. (Pay II) dated the 5.1.94. as amended from time to time.

3. Applications of only such officials will be considered which are routed through proper channel and are accompanied with the following documents.

1. Bio-data (in duplicate)
2. Photocopies of up-to-date ACRs of the officer for the last five years, duly attested by an officer of the level of Under Secretary or equivalent (original ACRs may not be sent)
3. Cadre clearance
4. Vigilance clearance / Integrity certificate and
5. Statement giving details of major or minor penalties imposed on the officer if any.

4. Planning Commission Applications of suitable officials who are willing and eligible for the post and who can be spared immediately in the event of their selection may be sent to the undersigned within a period of 45 days (dated on 22.05.2010) from the date of publication of this Advertisement in the Employment News.

Superintendent Job Description :

Superintendent in the Regional Evaluation Office, Lucknow / Mumbai.

Ministry / Department : Programme Evaluation Organisation, Planning Commission.

Scale of Pay : Pay Band (2) Rs.9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs.4200 (Pre-revised scale of pay of Rs.5500-175-9000).

Classification of post : General Central Service; Group B; Non-Gazetted; Ministerial.

Planning Commission Recruitment 2010 Eligibility Conditions : Officers of the Central Government.

1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis Or
2. With 3 years regular service in posts in the pre-revised scale of pay of Rs.5000-150-8000 or equivalent Or
3. With 6 years regular service in posts in the pre-revised scale of pay of Rs.4500-125-7000 or equivalent Or
4. With 10 years regular service in posts in pre-revised scale of pay of Rs.4000-100-6000/- or equivalent and
5. Possessing 3 years experience in Administration and Accounts work.

Period of deputation : Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organisation / Department of the Central Government shall not ordinarily exceed 3 years.

The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years as on closing date of the receipt of applications.

Planning Commission Duties of the Superintendent Vacancies :

1. Will be virtually in-charge of Administration in Regional Evaluation office.
2. To handle all work relating to Administration and Accounts.
3. To supervise all work (other than technical) of the subordinate staff in the REO.
4. Any other work assigned by the Regional Evaluation Officer.
