NMDC Limited, a schedule 'A' Navratna Public Sector Company under the Ministry of Steel invites applications from prospective candidates having intense drive for excellence with high level of motivation for its Bailadila Iron Ore Mine, Bacheli Complex, District: South Bastar Dantewada of Chhattisgarh invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following posts :

General Conditions for NMDC Limited Recruitment 2010 :

1. Vacancies in NMDC are provisional and may vary subject to requirement.
2. NMDC Age Limit 2010 : The upper age limit as on 01.06.2010 for General category is 30 Yrs. (Relaxable upto 5 Yrs for SC / ST, 03 Yrs for OBCs (Non Creamy layer) and as per Govt. of India guidelines for Ex Service personnel).
3. The selection will be through NMDC Written Test / Trade Test and interview.
4. Candidate may note that merely qualifying in the written test / trade test / NMDC Interview will not entitle a candidate for appointment.
5. While applying for above posts, the applicant should ensure that he / she fulfills the eligibility and other norms mentioned above as on the specified date and that the particulars furnished are correct in all respects.
6. The National Mineral Development Corporation reserves the right to fix the criteria for calling the candidates on the basis of qualifications, experience etc., depending upon the number of NMDC applications received. Eligible candidates will be called for NMDC Screening Test / Written / Trade Tests / and interview for all the posts.
7. Out-Station SC / ST / Ex-Service Personnel appearing for Written / Trade test will be paid TA of IInd Class Railway / Bus fare by shortest route on production of Railway / Bus tickets.
8. The selected candidates for the post at SI.No 01 to SI.No. 03 the stipend payable is as given below.

9. On successful completion of training and placement in regular scales of pay, in addition to Basic pay, Dearness allowance, and Mining allowance, other fringe benefits like free medical facility for self and dependant family members, leave travel concession, encashment of leave, CPF, Gratuity, Group Personal Accident Insurance, GSLI, Pension etc will be admissible as per the existing rules of the Corporation.
10. Interested candidates may download the blank NMDC Application Form 2010, from NMDC website : www.nmdc.co.in and send the duly filled in application along with a Demand Draft for Rs 50/-(Rupees Fifty Only) in favour of NMDC Limited, BIOM Bacheli Complex, payable at Bacheli. SC / ST / Ex-Service personnel are exempted from application fee. Demand Drafts drawn on SBI will only be accepted.
11. Candidates working in Govt. / Quasi Govt. services / Public Sector undertakings / Autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel or submit NOC at the time of written test / Interview and other wise they will be allow to join on production of proper relieving order after acceptance of their resignation by their respective organizations but not eligible for transfer of service benefits like leave, gratuity etc.
12. Interested candidates may download NMDC Limited Application or send their neatly typed applications on plain paper along with attested copies of all certificates and testimonials and recent passport size photograph so as to reach the following NMDC address within 21 days from the date of publication in Employment News. The post applied for along with the respective trade should be clearly superscribed on the envelop.

13. Proof of Qualification, Community, Date of Birth and Experience must be enclosed with the application. NMDC Applications received without proof of qualifications and date of birth are liable for rejection.
14. Candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC category should enclose a copy of permanent Caste certificate in the Govt. prescribed proforma.
15. No interim correspondence will be entertained. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
