NLC Ltd., a leading Public Sector Enterprise, under the Ministry of Coal, earning profit over three decades and poised for rapid growth in terms of Mining activities and Power generation, invites applications from suitable candidates for the following post to discharge the duties as “Overman” as required under Coal Mines Regulations, 1957.

Qualification

(I) Diploma of Three years duration in Mining Engineering from a recognized Institution (With 60% marks for UR/OBC and 50% marks for SC/ST) and (II) Possession of Overman Certificate of Competency issued by Director General of Mines Safety, Dhanbad.

Method of Selection

Selection will be based on performance in Written Test and Personal Interview.

General Conditions

1. Candidates from PSE/Govt./Quasi Govt. should apply through proper channel or produce NOC at the time of selection.
2. Candidates, belonging to the Category of SC/ST, called for attending the selection are eligible for reimbursement of Travelling expenses (To and Fro II Class Rail / Bus single Fare) for their travel from the Present Address to the Selection Venue by the shortest route, subject to production of proof.
3. Incumbent joining the above post is required to work in any Unit / Area / Place situated in India under the control of Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited or in any Joint Venture / Associate / Subsidiary company of Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited, to which they may be posted.
4. Candidates are informed that mere submission of applications shall not give them any right to be called for selection and NLC reserves the right not to fill up the vacancy notified at its discretion.
5. In case any ambiguity / dispute arises on account of interpretation in Hindi Version, English version will prevail.
