Applications are invited for the following post from Indian Nationals in the given proforma furnishing details together with attested copies of certificates and testimonials so as to reach the following address

Within 21 days (Twenty one days) only from the date of publication of the advertisement. Candidates should affix 01 (one) copy of recently taken (within 3 months) passport size photograph on the application form duly attested by a Gazetted Officer and 02 (two) copies of photograph (duly self-signed) on the Admit Card (to be submitted in duplicate).

The particulars of the post and eligibility criteria are given below:
Name of the Post: Primary Teacher
Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200/- (PB-1) with Grade Pay of Rs.2800/-
Age: Not exceeding 30 years (Relaxable upto five years for Government Servants)
Educational and other qualifications required for Direct Recruits:
Essential:
Higher Secondary or equivalent from a School / Board recognized by Government of India / State Government.
Degree or Diploma in Education/ Teaching from an Institution recognized by Government of India or National Council for Technical Education.
Desirable:
Post qualification teaching experience of (full time) at least 2 years from a recognized school in the Primary Classes in a regular capacity.
Competence to teach both in English or Hindi and Bengali.
Name of the Post: Telephone Operator Grade II
Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200/- (PB-1) with Grade Pay of Rs.1900/-
Age: Not exceeding 27 years (Relaxable for Government Servant in accordance with instructions or orders issued by the Government from time to time)
Educational and other qualifications required for Direct Recruits: Class XII pass. Proficiency in handling of PBX Board and Electronics Exchanges.

The department reserves the right to restrict the candidates called for the written test/skill test on the basis of desirable qualifications. If a large number of applications are received in response to the advertisement and if it is not be convenient or possible for the Gun & Shell Factory Management to arrange written test for all the candidates, the General Manager Gun & Shell Factory may restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit on the basis of either percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed minimum essential qualifications or desirable qualifications or qualifications higher than those prescribed in the advertisement or experience or by holding a screening test at his discretion.
The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for the receipt of applications, from candidates except for the closing date prescribed for those in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh Mizoram Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahul and Spiti District and Pangi sub-division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh and Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.
The application form as per proforma should be photocopied or typed on computer printer or printed on a plain paper of A-4 size giving adequate space for each row and column. Newspaper cutting should not be used as application form in case the space in the proforma is insufficient for furnishing full details of Educational and Professional Qualification and employment, an additional sheet may be added for furnishing these details.
Application form may be filled either in Hindi or English. No other language will be accepted.
The candidate must write his/her name as it appears in the Educational Certificate at the Madhyamik/ Secondary Level or its equivalent. If the candidate has changed his/her name after matriculation, necessary documentary proof should be attached.
The candidate should therefore mention all the qualifications over and above the minimum prescribed qualifications and should attach attested copies of certificates in support thereof.
The candidate should affix a recent (not more than three months old) passport size photograph on the Application Form duly attested by a Gazetted Officer and paste another two self-attested passport size photographs in the two Admit Cards (Proforma of Application and Admit Card are-given in the Section III).
Attested copies of certificates in support of educational qualifications, training, experience, caste certificate etc. are to be enclosed with the application. The cover should be superscribed for the post applying for.
Government Employees who have rendered 3 years continuous service may submit their applications through proper channel along with a certificate from their Head of Office/Establishment that no Vigilance/Disciplinary case is pending or contemplated against them and that there is no objection in releasing them if selected for appointment. The said certificate should contain total tenure of service rendered in that department. Applications which are not conforming to the above are liable to be rejected.
Ex-Servicemen may submit their application along with the attested copy of Discharge Certificate, otherwise their application will be rejected. Ex-Servicemen are eligible for age relaxation as per Rules.
Medical Certificate for PHP candidates should have been issued by the competent Authority and should be in prescribed format applicable for reservation in jobs under Government of India and the PHP candidates should submit the attested photocopy of the same along with their application. PHP candidates are eligible for age relaxation as per Rules.
The service is liable to be transferred to anywhere in India.
Candidates appearing for written test & skill test will travel on their own expenses.
The number of vacancies advertised is provisional subject to variation at the time of final selection.
Pension benefits are applicable under New Scheme termed as 'Defined Contribution Pension Scheme'. Contribution towards the scheme per month will be 10% from the regular pay bill of the employee. This will be a compulsory deduction. There will be no deduction in the month of joining service. The existing provrsi'on(s) of GPF scheme is not applicable.
Crossed Indian Postal Order worth Rs.50/- in favour of the General Manager, Gun & Shell Factory, Cossipore Kolkata - 2 should be enclosed with the application. No fee will be charged for SC/ST & Ex-Servicemen candidates.
Application not conforming to the provision stated above shall be summarily regretted, moreover incomplete or unsigned applications or applications not accompanying with attested copies of certificates or application received after the due date will be summarily rejected and no correspondence in this connection will be entertained.
The above recruitment is subject to such amendment(s) as may be warranted due to changing circumstances, if any under any order/judgments passed by the Hon'ble Court.
