Ministry of Defence is proposed to fill one post of Hindi Officer in the pay scale of Rs.6500-200-10500 (Pre-revised) in the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune by deputation from among officers of Central Government or State Government meeting the following eligibility conditions.

1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre / department Or
2. With 3 years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs.5500-175-9000 (pre-revised) or equivalent in the parent cadre / department And

Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience :

1. Master's degree of a recognised University or equivalent in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level Or
2. Master's degree of a recognised University or equivalent in English with Hindi as a subject at the degree level Or
3. Master's degree of a recognised University or equivalent in any subject with Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level Or
4. Master's degree of a recognised University or equivalent in any subject with Hindi medium and English as a subject at the degree level Or
5. Master's degree of a recognised University or equivalent in any subject with English medium and Hindi as a subject at the degree level
6. Five years experience of terminological work in Hindi and/or translation work from English to Hindi or vice-versa, preferably of technical or scientific literature Or Six years experience of teaching, research, writing or Journalism in Hindi.

Desirable :

1. Knowledge of Sanskrit or a modem Indian language.
2. Administrative experience.
3. Experience of organising Hindi classes or workshops for noting and drafting.

Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation / department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not to exceed three years, the maximum age limit for appointment on deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years on the closing dale of receipt of applications.

The appointment shall be governed by Department of Personnel & Training OM No.2/22(B)/2008 - Estt (Pay-II) dated 03 Sep, 2008.

Applications received after the last date or without the CR dossier or otherwise found incomplete will not be entertained.

While forwarding the application, it may be verified and certified by the applicant duly countersigned by the competent authority that the particulars furnished by the Officer are correct and that no disciplinary or vigilance case is pending / contemplating against the Officer.

As regards Hindi Officer qualification asked for vide para 1 (a) & (b) above is concerned, a certificate from the competent authority will be attached giving the details of experience.

It may be noted that candidates who once apply for the post and selected will not be allowed to withdraw his / her candidature or revert to their parent cadre without completing the period of deputation.
