Ministry of Defence Applications are invited for the following post from Indian Citizens :

Note : The incumbent on MOD Recruitment will be on probation for 02 years.

Eligibility Conditions for LDC Jobs in Ministry of Defence Chennai :

Qualification Essential for Lower Division Clerk Recruitment 2010 : 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English Typewriting or 25 words per minute in Hindi Typewriting.

Desirable : Basic knowledge in Computers.

LDC Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 (Grade Pay- Rs.1900/-).

Age Limit for LDC Jobs 2010 : 18-30 years. (Relaxation is applicable to Government servants, Physically Handicapped (Both Legs but not arms, One Leg, One Arm, Partially Blind, Partially Deaf Categories) & Ex-Servicemen as per extant Govt, orders).

Crucial Date for determining age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications. However selected candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in India.

Ministry of Defence Application Form 2010 :

MOD Application Form typed in English (in A4 Size Paper) should reach the following MOD address within 21 days from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News (dated on 10.07.2010). (i.e., if the advt. is published in the Employment News for the week 01-07 July, 2010 the last date for receipt of applications shall be 21 July, 2010).

The name of the post applied for should be mentioned on the top left corner of the envelope. Applications received after 1700 Hrs on the last date of receipt will not be considered.

Ministry of Defence Applications incomplete in any respect and received after the closing date shall be summarily rejected and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification of the candidate.

Attested copies of certificates (not original) of Educational Qualification, Proof for Date of Birth, Caste Certificate, Mark Sheets and one self addressed envelope (of size 30 cm x 12 cm) with postal stamp of Rs.5/- affixed thereon and full address written / typed in English are to be enclosed along with the application. However, original certificates should be brought while attending the test for verification.

Candidates employed in Central Govt, State Govt, and Public Sector Undertaking should apply through proper channel only. Otherwise their applications are liable to be rejected. Candidates appearing for test and interview will come on their own expenditure.
