Applications are invited from eligible candidates for following post on prescribed application form. the envelop containing application should be superscribed as Application for the Post of Stenographer Grade - III.

Attested copies of all relevant details in support of proof of age, Qualification, Caste, Experience and Employment Exchange registration No etc.

Should be submitted alongwith application form attached. SC/ST/OBC, Ex-Serviceman/Physically Handicapped / Sportsman certificate should be issued by the prescribed authority.

1 Steno-Grapher Gde-lll 16 Gen - 09 SC-02 ST-01 OBC-04 Reservation for Physically handicapped and Ex-servicemen has been kept as per Goverment Order (5200-20200)+ 2400 (Grade Pay)
a. Matriculation or Equivalent examination of recognized Board / University,
b. Speed of not less than 60 words per minute in stenography either in English or Hindi to be transcribed on a typewriter within the time prescribed for the purpose.
Written Test (This test will form the basis for qualifying for interview and other tests). Interview, Short Hand and Typing test.
Note: Extra weightage for knowledge of computer and its working in MS Office, Excel &. Power Point appliances. Marks for experience shall be based on experience from relevant field from reputed firm/ organization. Merit list will be based on marks obtained in Written Test, Short Hand Test, Typing Test, Experience and interview.

Last date of receipt of application: 30 June 2009 (Up to 1700 hrs)

Age limit as on last date for receipt of application is as under :- 18 to 27 years (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 Years for OBC, 10 years, for Handicapped and For Ex-servicemen as per rules in vogue).

Place of working: Any station in Central Command, with all India service liability.

No TA / DA shall be admissible for written test and interview.

Location of Centre for Short Hand Test and Interview-Cum-Typing Test:

Written test will be conducted at the centre to be selected by the candidates.
Location for Interview, Short Hand and Typing Test shall be intimated later.

Syllabus for written test:-

Syllabus for written test shall be commensurate to the qualification prescribed for the post comprising of knowledge of English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, computer fundamentals, drafting skills vocabulary, comprehension etc.
The candidates will bring their own writing materials like writing Pad, Pen, Pencil, Rubber etc. for written exam / test.

Mode of Selection: Written Test Short Hand Test, Typing and Computer Test, Experience and Interview.
