1. Eligibility for KVIC Junior Sub Editor Jobs 2010 :
Essential for KVIC 2010 Recruitment :
A. Educational Qualification for Junior Sub Editor Vacancies 2010 :
Bachelors degree in Arts / Commerce from a recognized University with Diploma in Journalism or Degree in Journalism And
Three years experience in Publication / editorial proof reading / writing of articles / to edit news items / Translation of Hindi to English and vise versa / to prepare the lay out of News items in any department of Central Govt. or State Govt. or in any organization of repute or statutory body.
Desirable : Knowledge of use of Personal Computer / Word Processing / Data Entry / Editing.
2. KVIC Age Limit : Not below 18 years and not above 28 years. Age relaxation will be as detailed hereunder.
Relaxation :
- SC / ST : 5 years.
- OBC : 3 years.
- PH : 10 years.
- Ex-Serviceman : By 3 years in addition to usual period of service in the defence forces subject to maximum age of 50 years.
- Govt. Employees : 35 years.
- KVIC Employees : As applicable.
3. KVIC Selection Procedure 2010 :
A. KVIC Selection will be on the basis of performance in personal interview for Junior Sub Editor posts.
B. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for KVIC Interview.
C. Where the number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large and it will not be convenient or possible for the KVIC to interview all the candidates, the KVIC at their discretion may restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit by any one or more of the following method :
On the basis of qualifications higher than the minimum prescribed in the KVIC advertisement.
On the basis of the experience in the relevant field.
By holding a screening test.
The candidate should therefore, mention all the qualifications and experience in the relevant field over and above the minimum qualifications and should attach attested / self certified copies of the certificate in support thereof.
4. Appointment : The candidates selected will be posted anywhere in India.
5. KVIC Application Form 2010 : Applications format should be typed neatly in Hindi or English. Application and copies of the required certificates must be sent by ordinary post only in a cover superscribed "KVIC Application for the post of Junior Sub Editor".
