Khadi and Village Industries Commission invites application from Indian citizens for the below mentioned post of Assistant Development Officer (REBT)

1. KVIC Recruitment 2010 Eligibility Criteria :

(a) Nationality : A candidate must be a citizen of India.

(b) Educational Qualification for KVIC 2010 Recruitment : Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Telecommunication, Computer / IT, Bio-technology Engineering etc. or Degree in Science with Maths or Physics with five years experience or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer / IT etc. with seven years of experience.

2. Age Limit for KVIC Jobs : Not below 18 years and not above 27 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India (and not the closing date prescribed for Far Flung Area).

1. Relaxation : (ST : By 5 years) (OBC : By 3 years) (PH : By 10 years)
2. Ex-Serviceman : By 3 years in addition to usual period of service in the defence forces subject to maximum age of 50 years.
3. Government / Employees of KVIC : 35 years.

3. KVIC Recruitment 2010 Selection Procedure :

(a) Selection will be on the basis of performance in the personal interview.

(b) The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for the interview.

(c) If the number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large, it will not be convenient or possible for KVIC to interview all the candidates. The KVIC at their discretion may restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit by any one or more of the following methods:

1. On the basis of their qualifications higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement,
2. On the basis of experience in the relevant field,
3. By holding a screening test.

The candidate should therefore, mention all the qualifications and experience in the relevant field over and above the minimum qualifications and should attach attested / self certified copies of the certificate in support thereof.

4. Appointment : The candidates selected will be posted anywhere in India.

5. KVIC Recruitment 2010 Application Form : KVIC Applications should be typed neatly in Hindi or English in the prescribed format.
