Indian Space Research Organisation Recruitment 2010 Scientists / EngineersISRO Recruitment for Scientists / Engineers 2010 Department of Space, ISRO Recruitment of Scientists / Engineers 'SC' with Post Graduate Degree in Engineering / Science. Indian space programme is aimed at promoting the development and application of space science and technology for the socio-economic benefit of the country and also providing valuable service to the Nation in a self reliant manner and witnessed several major accomplishments and scaled newer heights in the recent past. The remarkable successes in space programme were the result of well-orchestrated activities undertaken by the department aimed at mastering cutting edge technology through indigenous efforts and utilising the expertise available within the organisation. The future ISRO programme envisages development of innumerable cutting edge technologies for reusable launch vehicle, Human Spaceflight Programme, advanced high efficiency semi-cryogenic propulsion system, advanced communication satellite, air breathing propulsion, satellite based navigation system, hyper spectral imaging sensors, and inter planetary missions. ISRO offers the position of Scientist / Engineer 'SC' in the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 with grade pay of Rs.5400/- to bright young Post Graduates in Engineering / Science in the following specialized fields to undertake development of innovative technologies, high reliability processes & systems and establish advanced infrastructure needed for realization of its objectives :
ME / M.Tech / MSc (Engg) or equivalent degree should be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA / CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent and pre-eligibility qualification of BE / B Tech / B Sc (Engg) or equivalent should also be in First class with an aggregate of 65% (Average of all semesters).
MSc Degree should be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (Average of all semesters) or CGPA / CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent. ISRO Age Limit : 35 years as on 06.08.2010 (40 years in case of SC / ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates.) Ex-Serviceman and Persons with Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders).
