1. Intelligence Bureau of India is proposed to fill up 3 (three) posts of Security Officer (Tech) carrying IB pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- under the IB Ministry of Home Affairs, on deputation basis.

The Educational Qualifications, Experience and other eligibility conditions for the posts are furnished below :

Eligibility for Security Officer Jobs in IB 2010 : Officers of the Central Government.

1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis Or
2. With eight year regular service in posts in the posts in the Grade Pay of Rs.4600/- equivalent Or
3. With eight years regular service in posts in the Grade of Rs.4200/- or equivalent and

Educational Qualifications and Experience for Vacancies in Intelligence Bureau 2010 :

Physics or Chemistry or three years diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Communications Engineering or B.Sc. in Physics / Chemistry from a recognized University / Institution or equivalent.

2. Deputation / Re-employment (for Armed forces personnel) :

Armed forces personnel of the rank of Major or equivalent who are due to retire or to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and possession the educational qualifications and experience specified for deputationist shall also be considered.

If, selected, such officers shall be given deputation terms up to the date on which they are due for release from the Armed forces, thereafter they may be continued on re-employment basis. In case such eligible officer have retired or have been transferred to reserve before the actual selection to the post is made their appointment shall be on re-employment basis. (Re-employment up to the age of superannuation with reference to civil posts).

Period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization / department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years. The maximum age limit shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of Applications.

3. Officers who fulfill the above mentioned conditions of eligibility may submit their IB applications to their Employers, who may forward the same along with the following papers / documents so as to reach the following Intelligence Bureau address within 60 days from the date of issue of this advertisement.

1. Statement of Bio-data in duplicate duly signed by the candidate and forwarded through proper channel.
2. Up to date CR dossiers for the last five years or its copies attested on each page by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary.
3. Vigilance Clearance Certificate.
4. Integerity Certificate.
5. A statement of major / minor penality, if any, imposed on the officer during the last 10 years.

4. Intelligence Bureau Application Form 2010 complete in all respect and duly forwarded through proper channel only will be entertained. IB Application Form 2010 received in advance or after the last date or without all or any of the above documents or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered and no correspondence will be made or entertained in this regard. The candidates who apply for the Security Officer post will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently.

5. IB Security Officer Duties : To render Anti - Sabotage & other technical assistance for VVIP Security & to assist OSD / Security.

6. The officer inducted / selected will be governed by terms of deputation as laid down in the DOP&T OM No.2/29/91 (Estt) (Pay-II) dated 05.01.94 as amended from time to time.
