Indian Ordnance Factory Recruitment for the post of Semi Skilled in the Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200/- and Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- plus allowances as admissible to Central Government employees, from the Citizens of India, who are fulfilling the requisite qualifications / specifications as mentioned below on plain paper duly typed or neatly handwritten in the following format only. Application should be sent to the following address.

1. Name of Post and No. of Ordnance Factory Board Varangaon Vacancies :

The General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Varangaon reserves the right to change the number of Ordnance Factory Vacancies 2010 if necessary. If sufficient candidates are not available for particular post / trades the vacancies can be added to other posts / trades.

The successful candidates will have to give an undertaking that they will be willing for re-designation to any equivalent post as per exigency of production requirement in the Factory.

Abbreviations stands for :

• UR : Unreserved
• SC : Scheduled Caste
• ST : Scheduled Tribe
• OBC : Other Backward Classes

Age Limit for Indian Ordnance Factory Jobs : 18 to 32 years for General Candidates, as on last date of receipt of application.

2. Relaxation :

1. Upto the period of Trade Apprenticeship.
2. Upto 5 years for SC & ST.
3. Upto 3 Years for OBC candidates on production of Caste Certificate with Non-Creamy Layer clause issued by the Competent Authority.
4. Upto 40 years for Departmental Candidates with 3 years continuous Service (additional 5 years for SC / ST and 3 years for OBC).

3. Qualification for Semi Skilled Jobs in Indian Ordnance Factory :

Essential :

1. National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) Certificate in the relevant Trade or by ITI or equivalent Diploma / Certificate holder.
2. For considering the DBW Trade / Post NCVT Certificate in "Attendant Operator in Chemical Plant (AOCP)" or ITI pass or equivalent Diploma / Certificate holder.

4. Photographs : The candidate should affix his / her recent (not more than three months old) passport size photographs on the application form at the prescribed place duly signed by him / her. The candidates signature on the photographs should be in such a way that signature is partly on the photograph and partly on the application form.

He / She should also enclose two more copies of the same photographs (self signed on front of photographs and name and post / trade applied should be written on the back of the photographs).

One copy of photograph to be pasted in application form and two copies to be enclosed in application form.

5. Closing Date : The closing date of receipt of Ordnance Factory Application Form 2010 will be 21st Day from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News (dated on 19.06.2010), excluding the date of publication. For example, if the advertisement is published in the Employment News on 05th of the month, then the closing date will be 26th of the month.

If the closing date falls on Sunday or holiday, then next working day will be taken as closing date of the receipt of application.

6. Preference : Ex-Trade Apprentices of Ordnance Factories will be given preferences as they are conversant with jobs in Ordnance Factories and have been trained by Ordnance Factories incurring expenditure.

The General Manager reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Screening Test / Practical Test / Interview in a reasonable limit and also reserves the right to increase / decrease the number of vacancies in the trade / category depending upon the actual requirement which will be determined after selection from Ex-Trade Apprentices of Ordnance Factories is completed.
