Ordnance Factory Applications are invited from Indian nationals for filling up the following vacancies of Group "C" Non Industrial (Para - medical) posts at Ordnance Factory Kanpur.

Ordnance Factory Kanpur Recruitment 2010 Qualification and Experience:

Essential Qualification for Ordnance Factory Jobs:

Passed 10 +2 or equivalent examination with Science subjects.
Candidates should possess certificate as Registered Nurse & Midwife having passed General Nursing and Midwifery course from a School of Nursing or other institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
Minimum 02 years experience in a recognized hospital out of which 01 year in Operation Theatre.
Must have working knowledge of computers.

Desirable Qualifications for Ordnance Factory Vacancy:

Possessing a recognized certificate in Public Health Nursing.
Knowledge of Hindi.

Preference may be given to Ex-Army Medical Corps officers if suitably qualified.

Age: Between 18 - 27 years.

Age Relaxation for Indian Ordnance Factory Recruitment (admissible for following categories):

(i)	For ST candidates	Relaxation up to 05 (Five) years.
(ii)	For PH (PC) candidate	Relaxation up to 10 (Ten) years for UR candidates. Relaxation up to 15 (Fifteen) year for ST candidates .
(iii)	For Ex-Serviceman candidate	Relaxation as per Govt. Rules that every Ex-Serviceman who has put in hot less than six months continuous service in the Armed Forces of the Union shall be allowed to deduct the period of such service from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age-limit prescribed for the post or service for which he seeks appointment by more than three years, he shall be deemed to satisfy the condition regarding age-limit
(iv)	For Government servants	Relaxation up to 40 (Forty) years of age for General Candidates (U/R) and for ST Candidates relaxation as per (i) over and above 40 (Forty) years of age.

Crucial Date: The crucial date for determining age limit will be the last date of receipt of Ordnance Factory application. i.e. 21 days from the date of Advertisement in the Employment News dated (26.12.09).

The criteria for selection shall be as follows:

Written test of objective / multible choice type will be held for 150 marks in which general intelligence / awareness and technical knowledge of eligible candidates will be tested.

Skill test for 50 marks will be conducted for those candidates who attain minimum qualifying standard of 40% in written test.

Application Fee for Indian Ordnance Factories Recruitment:

An application fee of Rs.50/- to be paid through Demand Draft / Indian Postal Orders only in favour of Sr. General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Kalpi Road, Kanpur - 09.

No fee will be charged from SC, ST, PH and Ex-serviceman.

Ordnance Factory Recruitment 2010 General Conditions:

The Ordnance Factory application should enclose the followings:

Copies of requisite certificate / diploma / documents in support of age (Date of birth), Essential and desirable Qualifications. Reservation category etc. duly attested by a Central / State Govt. Gazetted Officer or equivalent authority as per Govt. Rules.
Three recent self - attested passport size photographs, one of which is to be pasted on the space specified in the Ordnance Factory application and others two are to be enclosed separately with the Ordnance Factory application.
Demand Drafts / Crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) of value of Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only) in favour of Sr. General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Kalpi Road, Kanpur - 09. However, candidates belonging to SC / ST / PH (PC) and Ex-Serviceman need not send any Indian Postal Order.

Departmental candidates / other Govt. Employees mentioning details of employment should forward their application through proper channel.

The complete filled in Ordnance Factory application along with the above enclosures should be directly sent to the address in an envelope super scribing with word (in capital Setter) "SENIOR NURSE GRADE II" Catrgory (GENL / SC / ST / PH / EX.SM).

Incomplete Ordnance Factory application or application received after last date of receipt of Ordnance Factory application will automatically be rejected without assigning any reason. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

Experience acquired after passing the essential qualifications only shall be entertained.

No application will be entertained if cutting of Employment News is used as Proforma.

In case of any dispute, English version of the advertisement will be final.
