Ordnance Factory Applications are invited for the following post in the Industrial Establishment from Indian Citizens only, who are fulfilling the requisite qualification and specifications in Ministry of Defence Recruitment as mentioned below on plain paper (A-4 size) duly typed or neatly handwritten in block letters, in the following format only.

The above Ordnance Factory Vacancy Position is subject to variation at the discretion of GM / OFDR depending upon the situation obtaining at the relevant time.

Age Limit for Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2010: Not below 18 years and not above 32 years as on closing date of receipt of MOD applications.

Cut off date for eligibility of age for the post will be closing date of receipt of Ministry of Defence Applications, which is Twenty First day from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.

Age Relaxation for MOD Recruitment 2010:

Up to 5 years for SC / ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for Physically handicapped. For Ex-Servicemen, age is relaxable by 3 years over and above the period of service rendered in the Army, Navy or Air-Force. Age is relaxable up to 40 years in case of Government Servants.

MOD Recruitment 2010 Essential Qualification:

1. Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination.
2. Must possess NCTVT Certificate in any Chemical Trade or in any Engineering Trade, failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma / Certificate holder.

• Turner (Semi - Skilled)
• Boiler Attendant (Semi - Skilled)

Ministry of Defence 2010 Educational Qualification:

Essential Qualification for MOD Recruitment:

1. Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination.
2. Must possess NCTVT Certificate in the respective Trade, failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma / Certificate holder in the respective Trade.

Mode of Selection for Indian Ordnance Factories Recruitment:

MOD 2010 Selection will be made on the basis of Seniority cum Fitness Test i.e. the candidate has to pass the specified Trade Test for respective Trade.

Important Note for Ministry of Defence Recruitment:

Ex-Trade Apprentices of Ordnance Factories will be given preference over Ex-Trade Apprentices of other Organisations. If the required number of Ex Trade Apprentices from Ordnance Factories become available, then applications from Ex-Trade Apprentices of other Organisations will not be considered.

The General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Dehu road reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for trade test to a reasonable limit.

Last Date:

The Last Date of Receipt of MOD Applications will be 21 Days from the Date of Publication of the Advertisement in the Employment News.

Ministry of Defence Application Fee:

Rs.50/- (Rs.Fifty only) payable by the applicants through Demand Draft or postal order only drawn in favour of "General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Dehu Road Pune - 412101". SC, ST, PH and Ex-serviceman are exempted from payment of Application Fees.
