1. Applications are invited from Indian Nationals to fill up the following vacancies of Industrial Establishment at Ordnance Factory, Itarsi.

Note : Only for Physically Handicapped persons.

1. Post mentioned from SI.No. 01 to 06 are not identified for Physically Handicapped Persons.
2. Post of Grinder (SS) & Machinist are identified only for OL (One Leg Affected), PD (Partially Deaf) and Deaf of PH category. The Post of Millwright (SS) is identified only for OL (One Leg Affected).
3. The post reserved for PHP and Ex-Serviceman will be adjusted by horizontal reservation i.e. the selected candidate will be adjusted against the categories of General / SC / ST / OBC as tne case may be to which they belong.

2. Educational and Technical Qualification : National Council of Trades for Vocational Training Certificate for in their relevant trades. i.e. (Fitter / Refrigeration, Fitter Auto Electrical, Fitter Electrical, Fitter Auto, Fitter Tractor, Fitter Electronics, Millwright, Grinder, Machinist) failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma / Certificate holder.

3. Indian Ordnance Factories Recruitment 2010 Age Limit : Between 18 years to 32 years on last date of receipt of application. Relaxation in upper age limit for the reserved post for SC / ST-5 years, OBC-3 years (on production of caste certificate with "Non-Creamy Layer clause"), PHP-I0 years (SC / ST-15 years and OBC-13 years for PHP candidates). Relaxation in case of Govt. Servant, Ex-Serviceman candidates as per Govt. rules and instruction.

4. Indian Ordnance Factories 2010 Selection Process : Selection will be made on the basis of Trade Test (Written and Practical). Written examination will be of 70 marks and Practical test of 30 marks. Only those candidates who attain minimum qualifying standard i.e.40% for General and 35% for SC / ST / OBC / PHP / Ex-viceman (if post is reserved for them) category in the Written examination will be eligible to be called for Practical test. The candidates qualifying as above would be called for Practical test subject to the condition that the total number of candidates called for Practical test does not exceed five times for the vacancies.

1. The services of persons appointed are liable to be transferred to any Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories in India.
2. The selected candidate will be governed by "New Defined Contribution Pension Scheme".
3. Person having degree of disability to qualify them against consideration for physically handicapped quota as per rules, in particular categories are eligible for the post reserved for PHP. They shall be required to produce medical certificates in the prescribed form issued by the competent medical authorities as per rules.
4. Relaxation of standards in selection against reserved vacancies. If sufficient numbers of SC / ST / OBC / PHP / Ex-Serviceman persons are not available on the basis of general standard to fill all the vacancies reserved for them, candidates belonging to these categories may be selected under the relaxed standard of selection to make up the deficiency in the reserved quota.

5. Ordnance Factory Itarsi Application Form 2010 : The candidates should fill up all the columns in the application and affix a recent (not more than 3 months old) self-attested partially on the photograph and partially on application passport size photograph on the application and enclose two more copies of same photograph duly self attested on front side alongwith his application. All the certificates should be attested by Gazetted Officers / Competent Authority.

6. On left corner of the envelope name of the post applied for should be written in bold letters.

7. Indian Ordnance Factories Application Fees : Candidates except SC / ST / PHP and Ex-Serviceman must send application fee in the form of Crossed Indian Postal Order / Demand Draft in favour of General Manager Ordnance Factory, Itarsi for Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only).

The Postal Order should be issued after the date of publication of the advertisement. The issuing date of Postal Order should be indicated clearly. The examination fee is not refundable.

8. The applicant should ensure that he / she fulfils the eligibility criteria, regarding educational qualification, age and caste. Particulars furnished in the Application Forms should be correct in all respects. If any false / incorrect information furnished by the Applicant is detected at any stage his candidature will he cancelled without prejudice to taking legal action against him.

9. Application without full details / attested copies of certificates by Gazetted Officer / Competent Authority, self attested photo partially on the photograph and partially on the application and two additional self attested photos firmly attached with the application. Proof of Date of Birth, application without signature of the candidate and thumb impression postal order / DD (Whereever applicable) etc. and also of those not conforming to the required specifications will be rejected summarily and no correspondence will be made / entertained in this regard.

10. The last date of receipt of application is within 21 days (dated 15.05.2010) from the date of Advertisement in the Employment News / Rozgar Samachar.

The application completed in all respects should reach to the following address within aforesaid date. Applications received through Fax, after the due date and incomplete applications due to any reason will not be considered. Newspaper cutting should not be used as application form for Indian Ordnance Factories Recruitment 2010.

11. The Ordnance Factory Itarsi management will not be responsible for late / non-receipt of call letters for written examination / skill test due to delay in postal channel.

12. Only selected candidates would be informed of their selection in due course after the selection process and no correspondence on the subject would be entertained.

13. SC / ST candidates called for Test will be paid traveling allowance only once as per existing Central Govt. rules, if he / she has furnished an attested Xerox copy of the caste certificate along with the application.

14. Candidate already in service in Central Govt. departrnent / State Govt. department / Semi Govt. department must submit his / her applications through proper channel along with the certificate from his / her Head of Office / Establishment that no vigilance or disciplinary case is pending nor contemplated against him / her.

15. If the nurnber of applications received for the above posts are on large scale and where, it will not be convenient or possible for this factory to call all eligible candidates for test, the General Manager may restrict the number of candidates to be called for test to reasonable limit on the basis of desirable qualification / higher qualification.

16. In the above post preference will be given to Ex-Trade Apprentice of Ordnance Factories as they are conversant with jobs in Ordnance Factories and have been trained by Ordnance Factories incurring expenditure. If sufficient numbers of Ex-Trade Apprentice of Ordnance Factories are available, other candidates may not be considered.

The General Manager reserves the right to increase / decrease the number of vacancies in the trade/grade depending upon the actual requirement.

17. The Ordnance Factory Itarsi vacancies are subject to order of Court / MoD / Ordnance Factory Board.
