Ordnance Clothing Factory Direct Recruitment Group 'C' Post DSC Detachment.

1. Officer Commanding DSC Detachment attached to Ordnance Clothing Factory (OCF) Shahjahanpur (UP) invites applications from Indian citizens for the post as under for direct recruitment in 405 DSC Platoon for employment at various DSC Platoons. The eligible candidates are only to apply.

Ordnance Clothing Factory Vacancies 2010 Details :

2. Ordnance Clothing Factory Pay Scales : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.1900/- Auth: DSC Records letter No CA-6/PI-405/60 dt 16 Jan 2010.

3. Age for ST Candidates : 18-30 years (25 + 05 years for SC / ST). Auth: DSC Records letter No. CA-6/PM05/60 dt 16 Jan 2010.

Note : As per S.R.O 181/2000, the crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of application form from candidates. In respect of post or recruitment to which is made through Employment Exchange, the crucial date for determining the age limit shall, in each case, be the last date upto which the Employment Exchange are asked to sponsor names.

4. Educational and Experience for Ordnance Clothing Factory Jobs 2010 :

Essential for LDC Jobs in OCF 2010 : (Auth: above SRO and DSC Records letter).

1. Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination from recognized Board with Maths and English as compulsory subjects.
2. Typing Speed should not be less than 30 words per minute for English and 25 words for Hindi, provided, that a person not possessing the said qualification in typewriting may be appointed subject to the conditions that he will not be eligible for drawing increment in the pay scale for confirmation in the grade till he acquires the prescribed speed in typewriting either in English or in Hindi.

5. Terms and Conditions of Appointment :

1. The above appointment is temporary and the appointment will be for a probationary period of two years.
2. The appointment is provisional and is subject to verification of caste, verification of character and antecedent and medical fitness.
3. The appointment carries with it the liability to serve any where in India. However, the initial appointment will be in 405 DSC Platoon of Ordnance Clothing Factory, Shahjahanpur (UP).
4. The appointee will disqualify for Govt Service in case he has more than one spouse living.
5. Incomplete application will be summarily rejected without any communication.
6. The department reserves the right to restrict the candidate to be called for written test/interview depending upon the Nos. of the applications received.

In case the response is more, the screening will be restricted to those with higher percentage of marks. The decision of Selection Board will be final and binding.

7. The Department will not be held responsible for non receipt of application within stipulated period due to delay / loss of applications by the postal authorities.

Application forms duly typed on A-4 size paper should reach the following address alongwith the following documents :

1. Passport size photograph facing camera, attested by Gazetted Officer duly pasted on the application form.
2. Attested copy of Matriculation certificate in support of birth proof.
3. Certificate for reservation category (ST) issued by the competent authority and Copy of Experience Certificate if held.
4. Self-addressed envelope of size 23 cm x 10 cm bearing Rs.28/- postage stamp.
5. Character Certificate issued by GO or Principal of the College / School of Village Pradhan.

Note :

1. Envelope containing the application form should be marked clearly on the top "Application for the post of _______________".
2. Advertisement No. and dt must be written on the Application Form and the application to be forwarded by Regd DAK only. Application By Hand will not be accepted.
3. Applications received in time and found complete / eligible in all respects during scrutiny process will only be called for OCF Written Test / Ordnance Clothing Factory Shahjahanpur Interview.

Ordnance Clothing Factory Written Examination / OCF Interview 2010 : Candidates whose applications are found complete and correct in all respect will be called for OCF written examination and typing test.

Date, place and time of interview will be mentioned in Ordnance Clothing Factory Admit Card. The eligible candidates will be called up by Regd. Post. No TA/DA is admissible to the candidates appearing for examination / interview.

OCF Written Test will consists of GK and Clerical Aptitude, English Language, Numerical Aptitude and General Awareness. The questions will be 'Objective-Multiple-Choice Type'.

Documents : Candidates are to bring their original certificates including Admit Card at the time of examination / interview.

Jurisdiction of Legal Disputes : The jurisdiction of legal dispute arising out of selection process can be instituted only at appropriate forums / Tribunals.
