Ordnance Factory Dehradun invites applications for the following post from the citizens of India, who are fulfilling the requisite Qualifications/Specifications as mentioned below on plain paper duly typed or neatly hand-written in the following format only.

Applications should be addressed to the General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Dehradun, Pin 248008, (U.K) and the same should reach within 21 days from the date of publication of the Advertisement in the "Employment News" Paper Dated 1 to 7th May.

2. Age Limit for Indian Ordnance Factories Recruitment : Not exceeding 30 years (Relaxable up to 05 years for Government Servants).

3. Qualification : Essential :

  1. Higher secondary or equivalent from a School or Board recognized by Government, of India, State Government.

  2. Degree or diploma in education/teaching from an Institution recognized by Government or National Council for Technical Education.

Desirable :

  1. Post qualification teaching experience of (Full time) at least two years from a recognized school in the primary classes in a regular capacity.

  2. Competent to teach both in English or Hindi and medium of instruction of the school.

4. Fees : Candidates must enclose examination fees of Rs.50/- in the form of crossed Postal Order/Demand Draft drawn on SBI, Raipur, Dehradun, in favour of General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Raipur, Dehradun payable at Dehradun.

The examination Fees is not refundable. SC/ ST, Ex-Serviceman and persons with disabilities (PWD) candidates are exempted from the fee.

5. Photographs : The candidates should affix a recent (not more than three months old) passport size photograph on the application form duly attested and also should enclose two more copies of the same photograph with the application.

6. Rejection of Application for Ordnance Factories :

The application shall be summarily rejected on following grounds :

  1. If Photo (attested) is not pasted in application Form and not accompanied two more photographs.

  2. If Specimen Signature, Date & Signature is not appended in the Application Form.

  3. If Copies of supporting documents duly attested are not enclosed.

  4. If the Application is without Examination fee.

  5. If essential qualification is not met.

  6. If the age of the candidate exceeds the prescribed age limit on the crucial date.

  7. If application received after the due date.

7. Indian Ordnance Factories Crucial Date :

The crucial Date for determining age limit shall be the last date of receipt of Application, i.e. 21 days from the date of Advertisement in the Employment News Paper 1 to 7th May.

  1. Persons working in Central/State Government/Public sector undertakings must apply through proper channel along with the certificate from their Establishment that No Disciplinary Action is Contemplated/Pending against them and that they have no objection in releasing them in case of selection.

  2. Mere submission of application form does not guarantee issue of Admit Card. OF. Dun will not be responsible for any postal delay.

  3. Canvassing of any kind will disqualify the candidature.

  4. Name of post must be clearly superscribed/written on the top of the envelope in Capital letters.

  5. No GPF and DCRG scheme is admissible to the post under Central Government, for those appointed on or after 01.01.2004. The New Pension Scheme i.e. Defined Contribution Pension Scheme is compulsory for all Central Government Employees who are appointed on or after 01.01.2004.

  6. Copies of all the certificates pertaining to Academic & Professional Qualification / Date of Birth and Caste Certificate duly attested by a Gazetted Officer must be enclosed with the application.

  7. The services after appointment are liable to be transferred to any Ordnance Factory in India subject to exigencies.

  8. Newspaper cutting should not be used as application form.

  9. Only selected candidates would be informed for their selection in due course after the selection process and no other correspondence on the subject would be entertained. 9. The General Manager, Ordnance Factory Dehradun reserves the right to change the number of vacancies and to adopt any reasonable criteria for adopting the short listing of candidates such as considering the cases of candidates having any desirable Qualification.
