Indian Ordnance Factories invited applications for the following post from the citizens of India, who are fulfilling the requisite qualifications / specifications as mentioned below on plain paper duly typed or neatly handwritten in the following format only.

Indian Ordnance Factories Applications should be addressed to the following address and the same should reach within 21 days from the date of publication of the Advertisement in the Employment News".

Heavy Vehicles Factory Chennai Vacancy Details:

1) Age Limit for Indian Ordnance Factories Jobs: Between 30 - 45 years (Relaxable upto 50 years for ex-MNS Officers).

2) Indian Ordnance Factories Recruitment 2010 Qualifications: Graduate with atleast one year "experience in community" social work.

3) Fees:

Candidates must enclose examination fee of Rs.50/- in the form of Crossed Postal Order / Demand Draft drawn from anyone of the Nationalised Banks in favour of General Manager, Heavy Vehicles Factory, Avadi, payable at Avadi.

The examination fee is not refundable. SC / ST, Ex-servicemen and Persons with disabilities (PWD) candidates are exempted from the fee.

4) Photographs:

The candidates should affix a recent (not more than three months old) passport size photograph on the Indian Ordnance Factories application form duly attested and also should enclose two more copies of the same photograph with the Indian Ordnance Factories application.

5) Rejection of Indian Ordnance Factories Application:

The Indian Ordnance Factories application shall be summarily rejected on following grounds:-

1. If photo (attested) is not pasted in application form and not accompanied by two more photographs.
2. If Date & Signature is not appended in the Indian Ordnance Factories application form.
3. If copies of supporting documents duly attested are not enclosed.
4. If the application is without Examination fee.
5. If essential qualification is not met.
6. If the age of the candidate exceeds the prescribed age limit on the crucial date.
7. If Indian Ordnance Factories application received after the due date.

6) Crucial Date:

The crucial date for determining age limit shall be the last date of receipt of Indian Ordnance Factories application, i.e., 21 days from the date of Advertisement in the Employment News.

7) General Note for Indian Ordnance Factory Recruitment:

i) Persons working in Central / State Govt. / PSU must apply through proper channel along with the certificate from their establishment that no disciplinary action is contemplated / pending against them and that they have no objection in releasing them in case of selection.

ii) Mere submission of Indian Ordnance Factories application form does not guarantee issue of Admit Card HVF, Avadi will not be responsible for any postal delay.

iii) Canvassing of any kind will disqualify the candidature.

iv) Name of post must be clearly superscribed / written on the top of the envelop in capital letters.

v) Ex-MNS are eligible for age relaxation as per rules.

vi) Ex-MNS certificates should have been issued by the Competent Authorities. A copy of Discharge certificate also to be enclosed.

vii) No GPF and DCRG Scheme is Admissible to the post under Central Govt for those appointed on or after 01-01-2004. The New Pension Scheme i.e. Defined Contribution Pension Scheme is Compulsory for all Central Govt. Employees who are appointed on or after 01-01-2004.

viii) Copies of all the certificates pertaining to Academic & Professional Qualification, Date of Birth and Caste Certificate duly attested by a Gazetted Officer must be enclosed with the Indian Ordnance Factories application.

ix) The services after appointment are liable to be transferred to any Ordnance Factory in India, subject to exigencies.

x) Newspaper cutting should not be used as Indian Ordnance Factories application form.

xi) Only selected candidates would be informed for their selection in due course after the selection process and no other correspondence on the subject would be entertained.

8) The General Manager, Heavy Vehicles Factory, Avadi reserves the right to change the number of vacancies and to adopt any reasonable criteria for adopting the short listing of candidates such as considering the cases of candidates having any desirable Qualification.

9) Candidates should clearly mention the medium of examination (only English / Hindi) which she wants to write.
