Indian Ordnance Factories invites Applications for the following posts of Semi-Skilled in the Pay Band of Rs.5200 - 20200/- and Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- plus allowances as admissible to Central Government employees, from the citizens of India, who are fulfilling the requisite qualifications / specifications as mentioned below on plain paper duly typed or neatly handwritten in the following format only.

The Senior General Manager, Ammunition Factory, Khadki, Pune reserves the right to change the number of Indian Ordnance Factories vacancies if necessary.
If sufficient candidates are not available for particular posts / trades the vacancies can be added to other posts / trades. The successful candidates will have to give an undertaking that they will be willing for re-designation to any equivalent post as per exigency of production requirement in the Factory.

(2) Age Limit for Indian Ordnance Factories Maharashtra Recruitment 2010:
18 to 32 Years for General candidates, as on last date of receipt of Indian Ordnance Factories Recruitment application:
Age Relaxation for Indian Ordnance Factories Recruitment 2010:
- Upto the period of trade apprenticeship.
- Upto 5 Years for SC & ST.
Upto 3 Years for OBC candidates on production of Castes Certificate with "Non-Creamy Layer" clause issued by the Competent Authority.
Upto 3 Years in addition to the period of service rendered in the Defence Services for Ex-Servicemen on production of Discharge Certificate for Ex-Servicemen issued by Competent Authority.
Upto 10 Years for Physically Handicapped Persons on production of Medical Certificate required for Central Government Service issued by Competent Authority.
Upto 40 Years for Departmental Candidates with 3 years continuous service (additional 5 years for SC / ST and 3 Years for OBC).
3. Qualification for Indian Ordnance Factories Recruitment 2010:
Indian Ordnance Factory Recruitment 2010 Essential Qualification:
National Council for Vocational Training (NCTVT) Certificate in the relevant trade failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma / Certificate holder.
For considering the DBW Trade / Post NCTVT certificate in "Attendant Operator in Chemical Plant (AOCP)" failing which ITI pass or equivalent Diploma / Certificate holder.
4. Photographs:
The candidate should affix his / her recent (not more than three months old) passport size photograph on the application form at the prescribed place duly signed by him / her.
The candidate's signature on the photograph should be in such a way that signature is partly on the photograph and partly on the Indian Ordnance Factory Recruitment 2010 application form.
He / She should also enclose two more copies of the same photograph (self signed on front of photographs and name and post / trade applied should be written on the back of the photographs).
5. Indian Ordnance Factories Maharashtra Recruitment 2010 General Note:
Candidates appearing for Written Test / Trade Test will travel on their own expenses.
SC / ST candidates shall be paid only one Second Class Railway Fare or Bus Fare for to and fro journey chargeable by shortest route provided that the distance travelled by Rail Bus each way exceeds 30 KMs. No extra charge if any, incurred for reserving seat / sleeping berth in the train will however be reimbursed.
News paper cutting should not be used as application form. However there is no objection to submit the application in printed / typed format, subject to that the format of the Indian Ordnance Factories Recruitment application is same as given in the advertisement. Over writing or blocking in any form is not permissible. Change if any is to be attested with full signature of candidate.
Name of the post applied for must be clearly superscribed / written on the top of the envelope in capital letters.
Submissions of false / incorrect / incomplete information and / or dubious / bogus document shall disqualify the candidate.
Copies of all the documents i.e. Date of Birth certificate, Educational Qualification and certificates mark sheets, Experience certificate, Caste certificate, Ex-Serviceman certificate, Physically Handicapped certificate, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer should be enclosed with the Indian Ordnance Factories application. 'No Objection Certificate' should be enclosed in original, where applicable. No document should be enclosed in original except No Objection Certificate.
Person working in Central / State Govt. / PSU must apply through proper channel along with the certificate from their Establishment that No disciplinary action is contemplated / pending against them and that they have no objection in releasing them in case of selection.
For departmental candidates relevant rules shall apply.
Mere submission of Indian Ordnance Factories Recruitment 2010 application form does not guarantee issue of 'Admit Card' for Written Test / Trade Test.
Only selected candidates will be informed for their selection in due course after the selection process and no other correspondence on the subject would be entertained.
Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
The New Pension Scheme i.e. "Defined Contributory Pension Scheme" is compulsory for all Central Govt. Employees who are appointed on or after 01/01/2004.
The services after appointment are liable to be transferred to any Ordnance Factory in India, subject to exigencies.
The successful candidates will have to give an undertaking that they will be willing for re-designation to any post as per exigency of production requirement in the factory.
The advertisement is subject to orders, if any, by Hon'ble Courts / Ministry of Defence / Ordnance Factory Board etc.
(6) Closing Date of Applications for Indian Ordnance Factories Recruitment 2010:
The closing date of receipt of Indian Ordnance Factories applications will be 21st Day from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News / Rozgar Samachar, excluding the date of publication.
For example, if the advertisement is published in the Employment News on 05th of the month, then the closing date will be 26th of the month. If the closing date falls on Sunday or Holiday, then the next working day will be taken as closing date of the receipt of applications.
6 (A) Preference:
Ex-Trade Apprentices of Ordnance Factories will be given preference as they are conversant with jobs in Ordnance Factories and have been trained by Ordnance Factories incurring expenditure.
6 (B) The Sr. General Manager reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Screening Test / Practical Test / Interview to a reasonable limit and also reserves the right to increase / decrease the number of vacancies in the trade / category depending upon the actual requirement which will be determined after selection from Ex-Trade Apprentices of Ordnance Factories is completed.
6 (C) The criteria for selection shall be as per the Trade Test Specifications.
6 (D) Method of Selection for Indian Ordnance Factories Recruitment 2010:
There will be a trade test in the trade in which a candidate has obtained NCTVT or ITI or equivalent Diploma / Certificate. The successful candidates will have to give an undertaking that they will be willing for re-designation to any post as per exigency of production requirement in the factory.
7. Rejection of Application:
The Indian Ordnance Factories Recruitment application shall be summarily rejected on following grounds.
If application is received after the closing date for any reason whatsoever.
If date & signature is not appended in the application form on the prescribed places.
If the candidate does not put 'Left Hand Thumb Impression' on the application form at the prescribed column.
If the age of the candidate exceeds the prescribed age limit on the closing date.
If the essential qualification is not possessed by the candidates.
If photograph (self signed) is not pasted in application form and the signature is not partly on the photograph and partly on the application form and same is not accompanied by two more copies of the same photograph.
If copies of all supporting documents duly attested by Competent Authority are not enclosed.
In case of OBC candidates, if OBC declaration is not signed by the candidate and recent 'Non-Creamy-Layer' certificate in not attached.
If application is not complete in any respect as per the requirement given in the advertisement.
