Indian Ordnance Factories applications are invited for the following 67 (Sixty Seven) posts in different Trades in the Industrial Establishment and (One) Non industrial Establishment from Indian Citizens only, who are fulfilling the requisite qualification and specifications as mentioned below on plain paper (A-4 size) duly typed or neatly handwritten in block letters, in the following format only.

Ordnance Factory applications along with the attested copies of certificates of age and educational qualifications, mark-sheets, caste certificate (wherever applicable), certificate of being Ex-servicemen, proof regarding experience the relevant field and other testimonials should reach the address within 21 days.

The above vacancy position is subject to variation at the discretion of GM / OFDR depending upon the situation obtaining at the relevant time.

Indian Ordnance Factory Age Limit 2010 : For the posts mentioned at SI No. 01 to 13 Only.

Not below 18 years and not above 32 years as on closing date of receipt of Indian Ordnance Factory applications.

For the Post of Medical Assistant : Not below 18 years and not exceeding 27 years as on closing date of receipt of Ordnance Factory applications.

Cut off date for eligibility of age for the post will be closing date of receipt of Indian Ordnance Factory applications, which is Twenty First day from the date of publication of the advertisement in The Employment News.

Age Relaxation : Up to 5 years for SC / ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for physically handicapped.

For Ex-servicemen, age is relaxable by 3 years over and above the period of service rendered in the Army, Navy or Air-Force. Age is relaxable up to 40 years in case of Government Servants.

Educational Qualification for Danger Building Worker Jobs :

Essential for Danger Building Worker Recruitment :

1. Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination.
2. Must possess NCTVT Certificate in Trade - "Attendant Operator in Chemical Plant (AOCP)", failing which ITI pass or equivalent Diploma holder.

Desirable for Danger Building Worker Vacancies : 2 (Two) Years working experience in Ammunition / Explosive Factory.

Educational Qualification :

Essential :

1. Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination.
2. Must possess NCTVT Certificate in the respective Trade, failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma/Certificate holder in the respective Trade.

Medical Assistant Job Description : (only male candidates should apply) Specification for the post is as under :

Essential for Medical Assistant Jobs : For Non Ex-Serviceman.

1. Passed Class 10 + 2 or equivalent examination.
2. Undergone a course of instructions in First Aid from a recognized institution / Saint Johns Ambulance.
3. Knowledge of First Aid.
4. Knowledge of Operation Theatre and sterilization procedure. For Ex-Serviceman
5. Worked as nursing assistant in Armed Forces after passing qualifying test of the Medical Corps.

Desirable for Medical Assistant Vacancies : Preliminary knowledge of computer.
